Great beers and atmosphere

The snacks we had were tasty but the fun was all about the beer. Flavors and tastes you'd never think of finding in a beer. It is a fun place with lots of energy and things to look at. If you enjoy a good beer, don't miss this place, it was fun.

This FS is located a block off Beale Street. Decent selection of local craft beers. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

Our first time here while visiting family, our party of 5 had an outstanding lunch at the Flying Saucer! I had the Sheboygan (bratwurst). My wife had the chili cheeseburger, which she graciously allowed me to sample. We agreed it was the best such we had ever had! Another had the roast beef sandwich with au jus dip, very delicious!... Sampled lots of different beers, the service was great and I haven't seen so many different beers and lagers in one place. I had chilli served in a huge roll which was very tasty. My friends had a beef sandwich with a savoury dip which they raved over.

As a feminist one may not wish to dine at the Flying Saucer. Of course, it's no Hooters, but the exclusively female waitstaff in exceptionally little attire is a bit offensive. Nonetheless, if you want the best selection of beer in town it's here. The food isn't bad, either, and they will periodically do activities such as Trivia and live... More

The beer selection is expansive at Flying Saucer. While some may consider this daunting, the excellent and amazingly knowledgable staff (s/o to Katie) will help you pick out something your always happy with. The food isn't outstanding by any means, but it's pretty good for an establishment primarily focused on the drink. Go to choices are always the Rocket Tots... More

This is a large restaurant where we stopped twice. The beer selection is incredible. It has internet and is right on the corner of the entrance to the main Blues Street. We just had some poppers there with our two beers the first time while we searched for places to go in Memphis- and there wasn't a second of "move... More

I was very impresssd with the beer selection. Service was good and the food was very good bar food. My wife is from Germany and had the German Plate. She liked the 2 different Brats, Bavarian potato salad and the sour kraut was not bad either!

They have a lot of beer on tap with plenty of area stuff to choose from. The food is good and they have a few unique items like the bratwurst sandwich that are really good. But its all about the beer, and the staff is pretty good too.

We always ask where the good brew pubs are and we were immediately directed to this place. It was all the better because it was a Monday and there were great specials going on. There had to be close to 100 beers on tap and the bar tenders were very knowledgeable about the different styles of beer. I asked about... More
