Great servers, Great seasonal brew

The best part about this visit, my server Jennifer. What a total gem of a person. Not only did she represent Memphis well, she is absolutely stunning and cool. I had three Stone seasonal's on tap. Stone is 2nd to Terrapin as my favorite breweries. I had the queso & salsa appetizer and had the... read more

The Flying Saucer used to be one of the main reasons I'd visit Memphis. I used to be able to try a number of new beers at this place. I was very disappointed this time because their beer selection seemed to be almost exactly the same as it was the last time i visited about 10 months ago. Also, there... More

I liked this bar and the general busy atmosphere. I'm a big beer drinker and love the fact that the US has loads of craft beers and loads of bars selling a variety of beers although the descriptions take some getting use to but that's the point of travelling. This bar has a vast choice of beer and that's a... More

This was my second trip to Memphis and as always, was looking for a place with a great selection of beers. I was frequenting place for their food, but finally went here for the beer after dinner. So my rating is on beer only. Why didn't I try this place before? I had been only disappointed in the beer selection... More

Stopped at the Flying Saucer for dinner, and got a soup and salad for dinner. The soup was a cheese beer soup, but basically tasted like melted nacho cheese sauce (so super spicy, burned the back of my throat a little). Salad was good, and boyfriend got a burger which he enjoyed. Lots to do there and the staff was... More

The French dip was one of the best I've ever had. I wish I could remember the beer...there were almost too many to choose from. Great location a block off of Beale. Nice open air environment. Only gripe is my knees didn't fit under the bar when I was facing the window.

Tremendous amount of beer options and knowledgeable, friendly staff make this a must visit stop in Memphis for beer lovers. Aficionados and folks who aren't picky about beers alike will be welcomed. I didn't have any food but others in my group did and it looked and smelled amazing. I had two flights of local beers and they were great.... More

I like most of the food here, though it's overpriced and about average. The fondu is delicious and the beer selection is great.

Great spot for people watching - especially at the window seats. A large, cavernous bar/restaurant. Fun, lively atmosphere. Food is just so-so but better than most bar-food menus. If you like beer, you are sure to find one you'll like here. There are hundreds!

This place has a great selection of beer and some good wine as well, with workers that know the drinks they serve well enough so they can give some good suggestions. Their chips and quest as well as their big pretzels are to die for the pretzels were perfect! I would definitely go here again.
