This was our 2nd visit to the Arcade and it was just as delightful as the 1st. The staff was friendly and the food, again, was wonderful - best potato salad on the planet! The historic atmosphere alone is definitely worthy of a visit.

We were only there for 1 visit but the Sweet Potato Pancakes were THE BEST!! Have your friend order the French Toast and then you can share and try a little bit of the 2 best items on the menu for brekfast.

We always have breakfast at the Arcade when passing through Memphis. The food is tasty and fresh. I always order "A Memphis Thang," and I've never had a bad experience with it. I feel like the side salad is pretty scrawny, but it's not what I really go there for. My spouse and children usually order breakfast. The scrambled eggs... More

We were seated quickly as the restaurant wasn't busy, however, we waited approximately 15 minutes before our drink order was taken while the waitresses stood around talking. After we received our drinks we then waited 1.25 hours and still had no food so we got up and left. It also wasn't very clean. Very disappointed!!!!

Creative dishes together with old standbys make this the perfect stop for a leisurely breakfast. We did have to wait a little while, but the used bookstore close-by offered a great distraction while we waited. Loved the food, atmosphere, friendly service and easy walking distance from our hotel. Close the the newly renovated Nat'l Civil Rights Museum at The Lorraine... More

I went here for lunch and it was a big mistake, especially in light of he the fact that there are good restaurants like Central BBQ that are also near to the National Civil Rights Museum. It has a 50's charm on the outside and it has been around forever, but I am not sure why based on this visit.... More

Touting itself as the oldest restaurant in Memphis leads one to wonder who has sat at the bar or classic diner style booths. They say it was one of Elvis' faves. They even have a booth they declare was his regular. Lots of history here. Many movies have been shot here including The Firm and The Client. Food Network and... More

We have been gone from Memphis for five years, and even now the Arcade dishes up the best breakfast. This is just plain good cooking, nothing fancy or pretentious. I went for the sweet potato pancakes with bacon, grits, eggs, and coffee. Wonderful service and a unique atmosphere makes this Memphis Oldest Cafe.

My mom, my husband, and I came here solely because it was one if Elvis' favorite places to eat and we were treating my mom to an Elvis get away. I am not disappointed at all. When we arrived we asked to be seated at the "Elvis" booth. However they had JUST sat another family there so we had the... More
