The King Ate Here

The food was OK, nothing memorable one way or the other but the fact that this was one of Elvis's favorites made it worth the visit. Truth be told, this was my second visit. My son, grandson and I were able to sit in the "Elvis Booth". It's the very back booth in the row of booths when you enter.... read more

I came here with friends for breakfast and tried the yummy sweet potato pancakes. They were wonderful and served with perfectly cooked bacon and eggs. The waitress was friendly and it wasn't too crowded. It is very near the Civil Rights Museum and is within walking distance.

Our 3rd visit to the Arcade. Good food and nostalgic environment, Always a fun experience. Exactly as portrayed on Diners, Drive Inns, and Dives on the Food Network

We were very disappointed because the pace is historic and cute. Unfortunately service was dismal. When we were there on a Saturday around 230pm one of the managers was busy transferring ketchup from one bottle to another while several staff were cleaning and sorting silverware. Meanwhile, plates of once warm food were piling up waiting for servers...busy doing other tasks.... More

We went to this place because of recommendations on Trip Advisor :) We were there on New Year's Eve. We had breakfast. They were super busy. We sat that the lunch counter. The atmosphere was very lively. The food was amazing. I had an omelet and my husband had the french toast. We couldn't even eat all our food, there... More

This restaurant was recommended to us for breakfast by our hotel. We liked reading about the history and thought the restaurant had some character. The service was average. We ordered their Redneck Breakfast and French Toast. The French toast was rock hard and cold. The Redneck breakfast which consisted of eggs and gravy were also cold. We sent back the... More

We had breakfast here a week or so ago and the food was really good. There is nothing fancy about the place, It's just your standard breakfast/diner fare. If you know that going in and don't expect anything more, I think you'd be very satisfied. Good eggs, bacon and sausage and the biscuits and gravy a very good as well.... More

Wanted to grab some lunch after visiting the Civil Rights Museum. We had heard this place was good so we checked it out. I just wanted a cheeseburger. So, I got a cheeseburger and it was pretty much a run - of - the - mill cheeseburger. This place has a lot of history and I think it is worth... More

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Arcade. The food was good and the service was friendly. The best thing of course was the authentic 50's diner ambience. Would recommend!
