Was back in Memphis for a few days and couldn't pass up visiting the Arcade again. It was just as good as our first visit a few years ago. Had to have the Elvis sandwich.....a peanut butter and banana sandwich. But my favorite was the sweet potato pancakes. Don't pass them up. Fun fact: it's the oldest restaurant in Memphis... More

Great southern style breakfast. Grits, biscuits & gravy, bacon & eggs, and much more on solid menu. As you step inside, it feels as if you have stepped back in time... where something just got frozen or stuck like an old skipping record. Just another piece of that good ole' southern charm, I s'pose. The restaurant also sits just around... More

This was Elvis’ favourite restaurant, so if you’re an Elvis fan, this place is a must. If you’re lucky, you can eat in the booth where Elvis always ate, and the waitress will happily take a picture of you, next to Elvis’ photo. We went for breakfast and had their famous sweet potato pancakes, which were very light and fluffy.... More

We stopped at the Arcade for lunch during the week and really enjoyed the food, the staff and the experience. You can tell that this was a hey day place when the train station made this area of town the bustling center of activity. Located in the South Main area, you have to make a small effort to get here... More

The Arcade has been around for a long time and it looks straight out of the 1950’s. And that’s not because the owners tried to decorate is some retro kind of way. This is the real thing. Breakfast was delicious. Highlights were the sweet potato pancakes, country ham and French toast. The only disappointment was the grits which were watery... More

The decor is that of an old time diner that could use a face lift. Not sure what we expected, but the food was good not great. They didn't get my eggs right and started to give me a hard time, but stopped and redid the eggs. The french toast was awesome. My wife asked for well done bacon and... More

People gave this a good review so whilst in Memphis for Elvis week I gave it a try. It is on the Main Street Trolley line and close to the Civil Rights Museum. About 100 years old. It is a must. I had the French toast. This came with 2 fried eggs, bacon and hash brown. I struggled to eat... More

This place was awesome! There was a bit of a wait but the hostess texted us when our table was ready, which was great. The food was so good. It is classic diner food but perfect for a breakfast before exploring the city. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

While visiting Memphis I was told that this was a MUST place to eat. Been around since 1914 and famous in several movies! Food was good / had the famous fried peanut butter/Banana sandwich.... Elvis's favorite!!!! Waitress was charming and the shakes were delicious ... WOULD come here again.
