Good Brunch Option in Memphis

We had breakfast here and the sweet potato pancakes were just - out of this world! A little off the Main Street but please don't miss the opportunity to eat here. I want to go back.......

Stopped in out of the blue. Nice old style diner. Ask what was good and Brooke suggested the pot pie. Might have been the best pot pie I have ever had. Mash potatoes and graveyard were great. Broccoli and cheese was just ok. When I am back again on business I will have it again.

I opted for the #5 recommendation of the Sweet potato pancakes, two eggs, sausage, and buttery grits all for under $10.00. The website is really worth a thousand words with pictures from all angles, but the reason I was there was for the eating and it was well worth the walk. Everything was hot, and prepared just the way I... More

Food and prices were very good. Happy to see a piece of Memphis history still in business. You have to try the Sweet Potato Pancakes!

We were excited to have breakfast here since reading out Elvis was a regular and just the history and age of the place. The place was empty and the waitstaff were dead. They all seemed irritated and did not want to be there, very lack luster. The food was eatable but I could have been more satisfied at McDs, except... More

Quite simply, this was one of the best meals I've ever had! Went by there after visiting the National Civil Rights Museum, which is just a few blocks away, and had the lunch special: meatloaf with two sides. I selected the fried okra---which was PERFECT!---and the chicken & dumplins---where else can you get THAT as a side? Price was fair,... More

The oldest and I would bet slowest restaurant in Memphis. Took them 35 minutes to figure out they lost our order. A lot of staff but they don't seem to be coordinated. Thank goodness for McDonald's.

I've been eating at the Arcade for years. It's a great little joint with breakfast all day, booths and the feel of a spot I used to go with my grandmother. Add to that some historical significance - Elvis, movies, open since 1919 - and you've got a winner. Plus, it's close to all the Beall Street action. Just be... More

I just love this place and it is a must stop every time I am in Memphis. The sweet potato pancakes are just a delight. My partner orders the Redneck Breakfast each and every time and he has nothing but rave reviews. If you get a chance, do stop by.
