We went on a Saturday specifically to get the Irish Breakfast. It is located in an old bank and there is free parking around there on Saturday and Sunday. They don't do brunch specials on Saturday. They did not have any champagne, so we drank Guinness and Whiskey (when in Ireland, or just trying to pretend you are...). There was... More

We stopped in The Brass Door to watch some World Cup football and ended up spending the entire afternoon. Our waitress and the bartender were super friendly and super fun. They have Magner's cider on draft, so we drank Snakebites and Black Velvets. They also have a great whiskey selection. And the food was excellent. This is a wonderful American... More

Went here to watch a World Cup game on the giant projector TV. We were seated right away in some excellent seats. It was early, so the place was a bit empty. Didn't stay that way long...this is obviously a popular place for the people who work downtown to have lunch. It got full quick, including the upstairs seating area.... More

If you are in Memphis and you don't visit here then you have wasted your trip there! An amazing pub, great food and very reasonably priced drinks. Seamus is a model landlord, making everyone feel so very welcome. As well as great food and drink, it is also the home of the Memphis Arsenal Supporters (the Memphis Gooners). The welcome... More

Memphis early evening in winter can seem pretty odd, (a few menacing drunks about threatening knives on people) but we walked past this place, peered through the windows and went in on the basis that they looked normal enough!!!!!!!!!! Host Seamus made us feel totally welcome and the atmosphere was brilliant. Good bad food and we even got a lift... More

Totally new menu - not at all like normal bar food ! A must try ! Upstairs for a private intimate dinner or downstairs for a more open time! In the basement for social, business etc..

We went there for food and it was great. We had the burger and the Irish breakfast and we both enjoyed them. The staff were cool and very friendly and the bar looked like a great place to party at. If I ever get back to Memphis.....

good , small place with curtious personell. drink prices average for downtown Memphis. quieter-off the main-a little more relaxing place to sit- no entertainment most times, but quieter with respect to crowds

My husband and I are great fans of Irish pubs and so, as part of our research before visiting a destination, we scope them out. We were delighted to find The Brass Door so close to the hotel at which we were staying. Big disappointment! They were out of our beers of choice and out of our number one choice... More

This is an authentic Irish bar. The food, service and atmosphere are great. The food portions are large enough to share and reasonably priced.
