Not Bad At All!!!!!

My buds and I visited Memphis for guys weekend out and we were only impressed with a few things in the city and Brass Door was one of them. We got good service and the staff was friendly plus the food and drinks were really pretty good. We all left saying it was a place we'd definitely check out... read more

Great little Irish restaurant and pub in downtown Memphis. The have traditional Irish entries like Shepherd's Pie as well as more American style options. Lunch runs around $8-11. The BELT - Bacon, Egg, Lettuce & Tomato is very large and excellent. Super flavorful, crunchy fries come with this sandwich. Yum!

This is a nice little pub that also offers a small, but tasty menu, well cooked. You can get traditional irish fare, including a very nice fish & chips. If you dont want a full meal, I recomend the Chips with curry sauce...yummy. Staff are nice and friendly as well as providing good quick service. We will be back...

My wife and I were walking from downtown Memphis over to Sun Studios on a Sunday. The bus line was not operating that day. It was well after the lunch hour rush but we were hungry and looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat. We literally stumbled upon The Brass Door. It was a pleasant surprise. There were... More

Dashed off to Memphis for a Valentine's celebration and couldn't have found a better place to have dinner than The Brass Door! Much more than we would have ever expected on first glance. Seamus was tending bar and engaged us in conversation adding to the ambiance. The chef had prepared a couple of specials for the evening and we sampled... More

We arrived in town late on Valentine's day and were looking for a chill place to get some dinner. The Brass Door was perfect! I had the burger with some tasty carrot-ginger soup, husband had fish & chips. House wine was good, particularly for $5 a glass. Nice atmosphere, and the bartender (who was also acting as the waitress) took... More

Stopped in for lunch on a saturday in feb. Got a warm welcome. Bar reminds me of the pubs back in the UK! Ordered Guiness & a cuppa then some food. Hubs fish & chips was great! My Shepheards Pie was better than my Nana made! Portions huge & British football on the big screen was a bonus!

I was so excited to find an Irish Pub close to my apartment, as an Aussie I have experienced many an Irish Pub back home. I'll preface this with the fact that I like how bright the place is, there's lots of windows (we were there for lunch). I was disappointed though with the food selection, it was not what... More

We went on a Saturday specifically to get the Irish Breakfast. It is located in an old bank and there is free parking around there on Saturday and Sunday. They don't do brunch specials on Saturday. They did not have any champagne, so we drank Guinness and Whiskey (when in Ireland, or just trying to pretend you are...). There was... More

We stopped in The Brass Door to watch some World Cup football and ended up spending the entire afternoon. Our waitress and the bartender were super friendly and super fun. They have Magner's cider on draft, so we drank Snakebites and Black Velvets. They also have a great whiskey selection. And the food was excellent. This is a wonderful American... More
