Here for the St. Jude marathon and looking for a breakfast place close to my hotel. Came to Blue Plate. Unbelievable!!!! Ordered an omelet was outstanding and came w hash browns AND biscuits and gravy!! Service is fabulous and gracious. True southern hospitality at it's finest. Highly recommend if you are in Memphis. Worth it!!!

Big portions, little prices, and plenty of hospitality. Located at court square it is extremely convenient for the hotels near by and the food was absolutely amazing.

The breakfast was good, especially the blueberry pancakes. But the service was slow. Convenient to the hotel and was better than the hotel food.

I cannot recommend this cafe highly enough. The service was warm and friendly, the portions huge and the food delicious. As an Australian we are not used to such big portions, but you couldn't possibly leave this place hungry. The above mentioned pancakes, no doubt a tribute to Elvis, were excellent and not too sweet. I would definitely go back.

This place was awesome, the food was as good as breakfast food can get. It is really inviting and the staff was moving and shaking and the price is very reasonable. Awesome job!

Took trip advisor advice and wasn't disappointed. Get there early because it fills up fast. My wife and I got there about 15 minutes after they opened in the morning. Seated right away, waited a while before waitress came over to take our order. Both of us got spinach, Swiss omlet. You have a choice, homefrys or 3 buttermilk pancakes,... More

Oh My Goodness! Fab coffee and juice. They brought fresh biscuits with butter and sausage gravy on the side. The biscuits were fluffy and hot. The gravy was only slightly think and that's fine by me. We had the omelettes with hash browns. There are little words to describe the flavor and amazing quality of the meal. My husband and... More

For a start, let me point out that I visited here on my second day in the US, specifically looking for a blue-collar diner experience, so I was the ultimate tourist. I wasn't disappointed here! Local staff, very friendly, and very keen to explain dishes with me, seeing as staples like biscuits and gravy aren't exactly popular in Ireland! Between... More

We went to this restaurant on Beale St on recommendation of hotel staff. Good sauce on ribs and good size portions. Restaurant is kind of rough looking but clean.
