We ate here after arriving in memphis before the Grizzlies vs. Lakers game, around 7. Great atmosphere. Ordered sliders and a sub that were fantastic. Guy next to us ordered a plate of oysters and when he finished he ordered another plate they were so good! Lol and they did smell amazing. Great bar!

16 of us traveled together for three days and most of us hit this bar at least once a day. Nice location off beaten path. Give it a whirl as one of your many libation hits.

Don't come here on a first date but this place is such a cool place to hang out at. Tasty looking food and an impressive line of beers. We had a couple local drafts for 3.00 a piece. I'll be back when in town

We came here to eat one evening and I have to say it felt much more like a bar than a place to seat down and have a good meal. The food here was good, but nothing special, however my salad had way too much dressing which pretty much ruined it! Also the bar was freezing cold, so much so... More

We stopped at Bardog right before we left for home. The food was good and they had a couple of nice local beers on draft. Our waitress really worked hard to make sure we knew all the items that Bardog was well known for and she gave very good service. A Veggie wrap with fries was 8.99, reasonably priced.

The menu was eclectic and what we had was delicious - some kind of pannini club, was a daily special. The bar person and our server was Brittney and she was so friendly and helpful. We challenged her that was the owner or chef really from NJ as they serve "Grandma's NJ Meatballs" as she swore that he was really... More

Marci from the Madison Hotel had recommended the Bardog Tavern, just down the street from our hotel. She said it was a local favorite. We went for a late afternoon/early dinner. The bar had a great beer selection and the food was outstanding...more than just bar food. Our waitresses, Amanda and Lauren, were so fun and did a fantastic job... More

Truly a tavern experience. Top notch food, great menu. I had the mussels with herbed garlic butter. Generous helping and very tender and sweet. Interesting specials that change daily. Good beer selection. Excellent service. A local favorite for a reason. Go.

Bardog Tavern was 1/2 block from our hotel, so we lucked out by stumbling onto this great bar. It's not very big, so it is cozy but it can also be quite difficult to get a seat when they are busy. The food was excellent. We ate there our first day in town and got takeout the next day. The... More
