The best part of our entire 5 day Tennessee vacation was visiting this restaurant! Can't say enough about the delicious food and the outstanding service! We will definitely be back!! The owner and chef greeted everyone of the customers who came in, not just greeted actually held conversations it was like visiting relatives. What an amazing little hole in the... More

In town for business and looked up restuarants on TA to find DeJa Vu listed as #1 so drove over for lunch. Area is a little sketchy and outside is run down with bars on the windows so I almost didn't go in, but the parking lot and field next door were full of cars so I took a chance.... More

Went here just because of the great reviews on tripadvisor and yelp. But the food was not good at all. Maybe it is a culture food out here in Memphis, but Red Lobster has better seafood and everything seems prepared from a can... Felt very disappointed when the food was not what it should be. Don't get me wrong, I... More

Great food, good prices, large servings even for the small orders, friendly welcoming people, and a cozy relaxed setting. The chef makes it to each table to talk to his customers. A big guy with a big personality who really makes you welcome. My wide and I have had the catfish, shrimp and fried oyster po'boys, gumbo and crawfish étouffée.... More

For months, I have been hearing about DeJAVU from friends and co-workers, but only got the chance to stop by today. It won't be my last visit. The services is super-outstanding! We were treated like beloved family from the moment we opened the front door. The food was delicious, serve fresh and hot, and without a lengthy wait. Chef/Owner Gary... More

I loved it. Great hospitality, friendly, great value. I had the creole sampler for 2. For me best were the Gator stew and the shrimp Creole. The gumbo was good and so was the etouffe of crayfish, but they lacked the savory spices of the gator or shrimp. Delish corn bread and the yams a bit too sweet for me,... More

Had lunch after our Graceland tour. It's a little hole in the wall, but just wonderful inside. The owner came and chatted with us while we waited for our food. Seating is limited, and we shared a table with father and son. It's a charming little place, open 11-3. The food was just wonderful, true Cajun food. Pretty diverse menu.... More

Food was great, the people working there are very nice, too. We were in New Orleans before and we could eat such a delicious cajun food there, so we were very happy to try the Deja Vu. The chef has a picture with David Bowie. Was a little crowded and not that fast, but it was not a problem.

My boyfriend and I were passing through Memphis and had enough time to stop at Graceland and a restaurant. I found Deja Vu on Tripadvisor and my boyfriend being from Louisiana is a big creole/cajun food snob so the great reviews had us very excited to try the food. We met the owner and his lovely wife, Toni who are... More

My fiance and I was down in Memphis for Memphis in May, we were down there from May 16th-20th. We were trying to find a great seafood place to eat. I looked at tripadvisor like I always do and Deja Vu was ranked # 2 so we decided to give it try. The place is really small and the neighborhood... More
