We first attempted to visit the Florida st location, but it seems to have closed down - the area does not feel comfortable for diner anyway. So we ended up on Main St, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and settled down outside to enjoy the balmy evening. The trolleys are down this summer in Memphis so there was... More

I had dinner at déjà vu. The service was very good and the staff was very helpful in choosing the selection. Tony's voodoo roux. Was delicious and fresh. When I return to Memphis I will definitely try their other selections. From beginning to end there is not one item I could say bothered me.

The food here is great. Gary Williams and his staff make you feel like part of the family. As a native of New Orleans, I am proud to bring visitors and friends to this restaurant. It is great to be able to have tasty veggies cooked without meat products. The desserts are scrumptious. Visit this location and the location on... More

This place is a clear winner. Great food, several amazing veg, vegan choices and excellent services. Their all-veg sides are simply exquisite !!

We came upon this restaurant by chance while staying in Memphis for a few days, having driven up from New Orleans. We'd booked Antoines in New Orleans months before, from Australia, as it was meant to be one of the restaurants you should experience. We were very disappointed. While Deja vu doesn't have the incredible history of Antoines it has... More

Wandering around Memphis during a layover, I happened on this little place. A great find - good cooking, a really friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Try it!

Probably the absolute best Creole fare I have ever tasted, and that included restaurants I have tried in New Orleans. I had the alligator stew - twice! The sides (beans & rice was my favorite) were all good too. Po' Boy sandwich, one of the best ever - try the 1/2 and 1/2 - 'gator and catfish, it is excellent.... More
