Me and My girlfriend (who is from Memphis) came to breakfast one day last weekend. It was definitely one of the best Breakfasts I have had in a very long time. Not being from Memphis, I wanted to try something local, and some friends suggested we try it out. It did not disappoint at all. I got the Stuffed French... More

We stopped here for breakfast with a large group (8). Our server was GREAT- she couldn't have been friendlier. The food was good (certain things definitely better than others, but overall, we were totally satisfied) but the drinks were awesome. Loved the atmosphere-- there were people reading, studying, playing board games, etc. Basically, what you want in a coffee shop.... More

I stumbled onto this restaurant while taking the kids to the Children's Museum. They have a full menu (eggs made to order, waffles, and a delicious hash brown casserole) plus the extensive coffee menu. Even the kids want to return for waffles and free wifi!!

Recently had brunch here. The coffee is very good. Full rich taste. Not just your average cup of joe. The breakfast was very good. The surprise was how fast it got to the table. Server was adequate though somewhat slow to refill our cups. We enjoyed it and will go again

My wife and I normally go to Panera or Starbucks. But this place is worth the drive from the suburbs. Local, inexpensive, friendly...games, coffee and cheesecake!

We like to gather at Republic Coffee and meet with friends. The owners are great! It has evolved from more of a neighborhood spot to a destination. There are a variety of things on the menu and we can find vegetarian options. I hear that the new triple chocolate cake is amazing but I am avoiding it (recovering from a... More

On a recent trip to Memphis I drove by this place and decided to give it a try. I didn't eat anything but the menu was simple and sounded good. A bottomless cup of coffee was less than $4 and you can occupy any seat in the place as long as you want. It is open to midnight every day... More

I love funky places but this place is too quirky for words. The food is mediocre, the service is bad and the owner will ask you to leave if you stay more than an hour (even if you've been waiting for the waitress to pick up the money on the table and settle the check). Don't waste your time on... More

Customer is or has been a regular for quite some time. It seems that twice now she feels she has been rushed out of the place during brunch. She has not ever spoken to the owner, although he did immediately reach out to her via email, based on the review she is posting. On both occasions she was with us... More

I’d read reviews that the food is good, but the service is bad at Republic. I’d been dreading that. We finally went on Sunday around 11am and quickly found a table that someone had just vacated. Our waitress came over immediately to clean the table and give us food and coffee menus. I ordered an amaretto frappe and hubby had... More
