Great Breakfast

Great eatery in midtown. Billed as an 'Informal European-Style Coffeehouse.' Outstanding breakfast. Tables and booths are not tightly jam packed, service and food were outstanding. My wife opted for a 20 ounce pressed coffee while I had a latte. Illy's coffee (Italy?) is the standard brand here... read more

Great eatery in midtown. Billed as an 'Informal European-Style Coffeehouse.' Outstanding breakfast. Tables and booths are not tightly jam packed, service and food were outstanding. My wife opted for a 20 ounce pressed coffee while I had a latte. Illy's coffee (Italy?) is the standard brand here ... very tasty and strong. We each had the B.E.C., eggs, Porcellino's bacon... The bad first: if you go on a Sunday, you are gonna wait. Service is also sometimes slow depending on the server (and I go frequently, so I have seen the good and the bad). Now the good. Um...delicious?! The BEC is my fave, but Rachel's wrap and the Inigo Montoya (yes, that guy) are both delicious. I used to... More

Had lunch with a friend - I ordered the grilled chicken salad, which was really fresh and of ample portion. My friend had a wrap which was delicious, the fries weren't really hot and crisp, so I would not recommend those. Ambiance was nice and the service was very personal. Would recommend.

Stopped by for breakfast on a recommendation for my nephew. He was right on target. The menu was creative, service was great and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The spicy Sunny Tater hash was tasty and SPICY. I preferred the French Omelet which was a perfect bale of flavors. Highly recommended.

Went into this place on a Saturday morning. We only had an hour for lunch and assumed the line was far too long for us to get food. Instead we ordered coffee drinks at the bar and watched the line cycle faster than should have been possible. The staff ran like a machine, as did the kitchen. Our drinks came... More

Came for brunch with my son, sister and nephew, the Saturday after Christmas. I had the bacon waffle; it had bacon in it as well as on it! With a drizzle of syrup, I was in hog heaven. I can't believe I ate the whole thing. We also had the Blondie, the French omelet, and a bacon & eggs plate.... More

This is a cozy coffee house and bakery that serves great breakfasts most of the day, and some decent sandwiches and salads. Prices are reasonable, wi-fi available, locals love it. Parking can be a challenge but free public parking spots and lots surround it. It can get noisy but service is friendly and the place is usually packed.

Eclectic, indeed - food, design, service and clientele all fit the name. Sandwiches, salads, breakfast and hot dishes - something for everyone, all made fresh. They make their own breads and all bakery items, and they are excellent. That does mean that if you go late on a busy day, you may miss some of the more popular items. Atmosphere... More

We ate here on a Sunday morning for brunch. We were very impressed with the unique selection of coffee drinks and menu options. My husband ordered a traditional breakfast, I ordered the holiday Benedict- eggs Benedict with a holiday dressing (turkey, cranberry, gravy). We shared pumpkin pancakes which I would not recommend - they were too dense, not fluffy and... More
