We stayed a night at Glengarry Castle Hotel and ate in the restaurant there. Both meals were delicious. Service was excellent.

I purchased the breakfast with the hotel, Dinner was extra but worth it! The food and service was excellent and the dining room was very "posh", as my British friends would say.

Good food & good service at a very reasonable price. Nice to have coffees in lounge or library afterwards.

A varied menu in a quiet room. Sectioned off from other common rooms in the hotel, the restaurant links to a living room - styled common area for relaxing and enjoying a cocktail or the newspaper.

Get in early for a window seat. Nice menu but food was a little on the sparse side. Ask for gluten free toast if you need it, its available. Kippers were nice but presentation a bit lacking. Husband had bacon which was a bit rubbery. Coffee was smooth and plenty of it.

The 10 pounds a person full tea was a reasonable value in this setting! Reasonable portions. Typical sanwiches, cakes, and scones with tea and coffee was served in the library. There were several room choices and all had character. Beautiful setting for any of the rooms afternoon tea is served in. A walk around the grounds and down to the... More

our first visit to Invergarry, and this won't be our last. The starter of smoked trout was superb, beautifully meaty without being too much. The soup, watercress and potato, was delicate but packed with flavour. mains were steak(Mr D is fussy with steak and marks them against one he had a while ago) tender cooked to perfection (along par with... The food here is very good - a four course meal for GBP 32 and the service was excellent. We started with smoked trout and chicken liver parfait, followed parsnip and ginger soup, with the main course of baked haddock and turkey for my guest. This was finished with cappuccino ice-cream and cheese. We ordered an excellent hunters wine at... More

Spent three nights eating here-wonderful fish as well as duck. The dining room has great ambiance as well as views of the nearby mountain range. Don't miss the after dinner coffee in front of the lounge fireplace.

Delicious meal and great service. It was a little quiet - would have been nice if there was some music - but other than that no complaints!
