We popped in here for a few drinks as it was quiet for a Saturday night. Reasonable priced drinks and very comfortable seating, with really nice, friendly bar staff. We were surprised how empty it was but two local men who came in after we did chatted to us from their seats at the bar. Decor is very nice and... More

a bit tired, a bit quiet. Is to let at time of writing. Very warm welcome. One ale on draught. Needs some money spent on it

This little pub right on the harbourside is lovely, fantastic variety of food and fish choices, also had pensioners/smaller appetite meals with same variety of choice. Staff were very friendly as were the locals.

Food is well presented and of a high standard. Can't say the same for the decor but look past that and you'll be fine. Can recommend the beer battered haddock.

The furnishings were sticky and there was little atmosphere. Most of my party enjoyed their food but I would say my fish pie was a little underseasoned. It needs a refurb to freshen the place up a bit.

The food here is very good but we still waiting to be asked if we would like a sweet or coffee. We enjoyed what we had but staff could be more attentive. Have the fish - you wont go wrong.

Went in for our supper and had great fish and chips and the fish pie was to die for. Good pint of Best and the service was really good and staff friendly.

Really nice dinner and good, friendly service. Toilets not great but otherwise a really pleasant meal! Food MUCH better than normal 'pub food'
