Overpriced, But Nice

We only ever eat in the front of the chippy, stupidly expensive in the "restaurant bit" Staff never seem to smile, its all to much effort by the looks on their faces, but the food is fresh & hot, always tasty. Change of attitude in staff members would make it a much more pleasant... read more

An unexceptional menu and decent-quality food -- the fish and chips were pretty good -- but it all felt rather overpriced. Paying for the view? Maybe, because you can see the sea. But that's not enough...

Expensive and not that good. We had fish and chips twice and a fish cost over £17 and the portions weren't that big

Best fish and chips for 30 miles. Went today for the third time. Some of the other reviews mention the grease. This is true and could do with being tried off a bit first. Portion sizes good for me. Staff could do with being slightly more jolly

The finest batter on a piece of fish, melt in the mouth with a perfect crunch. Chips so fresh and tasty!

I ordered a single fish which was swimming in oil and grease . There was actually a puddle at the bottom of my tray which the fish was on . I couldn't eat it . At least drain some of the oil away . Not great and very disappointed . I have sat in the resturant before and it was... More

My partner had the fish & chips, I had the haggis & chips - both were excellent - freshly cooked and not at all greasy.
