We went for lunch as an extended family of 12. The food was lovely and there was a good selection of wine and ales. We sat in the bar which was open with a cosy atmosphere. The dishes were quite pricey (my vegetarian option was £15) but this may be due to the location. There was no children's menu but... More

We went for dinner on Friday night and the pub was friendly and welcoming. The menu looked tasty. I has steak & ale pie & my boyfriend had chilli. He said his chilli was perfect, personally it looked a bit boring but he's the one that ate it! My pie was nice but the gravy was unthickened. He had beligian... More

Had a lovely meal at The Craw. The room (restaurant at the back) was lovely, a really good layout as you don't feel like you are in a big impersonal room but you are still part of the pub atmosphere. Staff were inviting and friendly. The food was good - especially the haddock and chips.

We go here quite often for weekend lunches. The food has improved enormously recently and the homemade steak pie is wonderful. Good choice of specials too. Nice cosy bar with tables or a slightly more formal but still cosy restaurant in the back. Good service and a lovely setting.

Great food at a range of prices with a excellent selection of beers in an inviting country pub setting just off the main A1 route into Edinburgh.

My two sons and I had the most delicious meal at the Craw Inn last night (05/04/14). The menu included traditional locally sourced food served in appealing portions. I rarely eat three courses but munched my way happily through three last night. The service was excellent and we were exceptionally well looked after ...... all our needs were met. The... More

Visited this pub on a Saturday evening for a meal. A very warm welcome, a menu that you knew would be freshly cooked and we were not disappointed with our choice of food. Good value for money. Certainly worth a visit.

Arrived early evening on a Friday with a child in tow and was able to get a table. Menu was more varied than what the website shows - particularly important with two vegetarians dining - there were four veggie options which was surprising to see. Local ales on tap were recommended (and lovely), and the wine list is extensive. There... More
