Brilliant Pub

This pub is out of the way but it is such a gem we are happy to eat and drink the whole night in the pub, the food is great and and it is a former CAMRA Pub Of The Year so there is always a good selection of real ales on sale, locals and staff are friendly and welcoming.

Lovely lunch here with the family although we weren't offered a kids menu for our 5 year old who ate a starter from the main menu.

Traveling through the countryside and desperate to find something to eat late in the evening we saw a sign on the main road for the "Craw Inn" and followed it. What a surprise, excellent pub in the middle of nowhere. Good food, lovely atmosphere and nice people. Can only recommend

friendly, warm and welcoming pub. The bar area is so inviting and cosy with a big wood burning stove it is hard to leave! In the summer the back decking is a great spot for a beer in the sun.

If it's top quality beer, a warm and friendly welcome, good food and a great local pub that you are looking for then look no further. Even better, the Craw Inn has two beer festivals a year; one in August and one in November. Next one is on 7, 8 and 9 November 2014.

The first thing I would say is that this is a local pub first and foremost. Our welcome was inviting, we were a family of four adults and decided to eat at one of the tables in the bar area. The bar has a lowly welcoming feel to it. When the food came it was lovely, the smoked haddock tartlet... More

This is a lovely bar come restaurant. Very oldie building with low ceilings and squeaky floors. There was only 3 adults in our company. We ordered our drinks which was 3 cans if coke then our meals. 3 starters which consisted of shop bought prawn and filo wraps and sesame seed toast, breaded brie, and haggis mixed with dambuie with... This was the send year we have stayed in Auchencrow village and eaten at the Craw Inn. We have eaten there 4 times now. The bar is quite small but there is a bigger restaurant at the back. The staff are lovely, very friendly and the manager/owner was very knowledgeable about the wine list. We were a party of 11... More

We are a family of 4. Two adults and two teenagers. We visited here on Monday evening, 25th August. We were travelling back to Newcastle from Edinburgh. We noticed the signs to this place on the A1. We walked in at about 6pm. The bar was silent! The lady on the bar (owner or manager maybe?) was friendly enough but... More
