Great views and food - what more could one want?

Amazed to find the cafe open on a wintry February afternoon, but so glad it was. Excellent food and service and a lot of very satisfied customers. Thank you very much.

Great coffee and a really nice view of the loch. The meals are reasonably priced and really nice. Wasn't the easiest to find as some of the signs are a little misleading but defiantly worth it when we got there. Not to mention it was the only place anywhere in the area that was open during the off season.

We followed the signs for more than ten miles down a single track road and stopped for tea at five to four to be rudely told they were closing and would not serve us. This seemed very strange to us because if you advertise as a tearoom you should really be open at tea time. This sort of rudeness makes... More

We have opened on a seasonal basis for a number of years and this winter we have endeavoured to stay open, weather permitting. Due to the short days at this time of year we have been closing at 4pm. As the days lengthen we are staying open until 5pm from March. We apologise if a member of staff seemed rude,... More

A nice and friendly welcome on arrival on the cold February day, with great views of the Loch while having your lunch. The food looked nice, well presented and tasted as good as it looked. Service was excellent. If your coming the Loch then this end is much better option.

I have been to stronachlachar via boat and car in the last year however had the first chance to eat in the pier cafe. I had built it up a bit in my head as I knew what it looked like and where it was however it was better than expected to eat there. Very good and friendly service as... More

Rather than stick with the throng at the coach party end of Loch Katrine we drove round to Stronachlachar at the West End and the difference was stellar, with no more than two other cars in the car park and a peace and quiet that let us really savour the tranquil atmosphere of the place. The Pier Tea Room is... More

Absolutely amazing place. Food was excellent I had soup, and coffee cake there for lunch, when staying nearby for a hen weekend. I ended up in hot chocolate heaven :D The staff were very friendly and helpful providing a fantastic atmosphere. Excellent value for money. The gift shop there is also fantastic, I was able to get some lovely gifts... More

We had walked the 14 miles from the ferry at the Trossachs pier to the ferry pier at Stronlachar, arriving at about 5pm. We had pre booked the ferry but when we arrived the proprietor expressed surprise that we were there for the ferry as they understood that there was no later ferry that day. Even though the cafe was... More

This is at end of Loch Katrine. Views inside (or outside) are fabulous. Cake was good, coffee was good. Nice little shop too. Friendly place. If you've never benn to this end of loch Katrine- its worth the long drive (the other nearby loch is my favourite scenic part of the uk). Visit this cafe!
