In the area on biz and not pleasure. Needed a pit stop so followed the signs to the Pier Tea Room. What a view from the pier - Loch Katrine in all its glory on a sunny, warm, dry, midge free morning. Great service from the staff offering me a coffee and bacon/egg roll. Sat by the loch side and... More

Cycled Loch Katrine and finished at Stronachlachar. Served a very tasty Hot Choclate. We did not try the food, but it looked very tasty from what we saw other customers eating. Staff Friendly Lovely views down the Loch.

We were completing the cycle from Loch Katrine and back and decided to stop at the picnic benches outside the cafe to eat our sandwiches. We then decided to pop in to get some shade and grab a drink. Overall really lovely and polite staff and good selection of drinks and food. We just had a couple of soft drinks... More

This is a superb tea and lunch venue, the lunch is simple , well presented, and reasonably priced, the cakes and scones are home made and delicious,The Pier is situated at the head of Loch katrine and the view from the conservatory restaurant is unbeatable. It is about 10 miles from the nearest town Aberfoyle but definitely worth the trip

I visited this cafe as a member of the Civil Service Pensioners Alliance. Our party consisted of 36 people on a coach. The staff coped very well, with no waiting time and they had everything organised to perfection. Our orders were taken at the counter, we were seated in the conservatory overlooking Loch Katrine. The views were spectacular. In 10... More

We arrived to watch the Sir Walter Scott come in and received very quick friendly service for tea's and coffee's, once the Sir Walter Scott docked and we placed order for lunch the service did slow... This is a little hidden gem. A Tea Room, with friendly staff and a nice little shop selling local Scottish produce. In a stunning location. We were wasting time before picking up friends (who were walking the WHW) when we drove down for a look. We sat in the new conservatory with views to die for. It is a few... More
