We went with our daughter and 14 month old grandson and the waiter quickly brought a highchair, we immediately felt very welcome. When we looked around there were several other families with young children being well catered for. This establishment is situated 2 minutes from "the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond" and 5 minutes from a large public car park... More

I particularly liked the tartan dishes & the food was so filling & tasty. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table but it was well worth the wait. Service was very pleasant. There was no dislikes at all.

My wife and I have eaten in this café many times over the years, but it appears to have changed hands fairly recently (or the usual owner is "hands-off"). As some others have said, we were greeted warmly by a young man when we came in, but were apparently invisible to the older ladies. I just wanted a hazelnut mocha... More

Stopped in yesterday, I was greeted at the door by a friendly lady behind the counter, seated quickly and ordered quickly. I had the spicy soup which was lovely and filling, still had space for a coffee and a scone though! I have never had bad service in here as all the staff are lovely and friendly and always recommend... More

Often come here for a snack when we spend a week at Cameron House lodges just a few miles south. Consistently high standards , excellent tea and coffee and a choice of soups , sandwiches and great cakes . Extra cream can be requested for apple pies etc , just be warned because you get a cowful !!!!

- Greeted on entering the empty restaurant by a query as to whether we had a reservation & then permission to sit beside the fire was declined as we were 5 and the table was for 8 ( still lots of echoes at this stage). Head staff member gave glaring looks as we heated up in front of the stove.... More

Walking in we were met by a warm room with a log burner going. The selection of cakes was great so was the coffee. I had a Mocha which was lovely. It's not cheap when you are a family going but still nice.

After walking my dog in awful rain I called in here. There was a queue, not so bad on New Years Day. Families all enjoying being out and sheltering from the weather. I got a seat quickly, near the lovely log fire. I was served by a friendly kilted waiter and my soup and bread arrived in very apt tartan... More
