Having been to Luss many times over the past 12 years, I've always found the Coach House to be consistently good in food, service, location, charm and warmth. Set in the conservation village of Luss, on Loch Lomond, the atmosphere of the shop reflects what you'd expect in a cozy little thicket in Scotland. Wonderful baked goods and hot drinks... More

Try the scones, they're delicious! We stopped for afternoon tea, everything looked delicious. We had the soup and fresh bread first (servings were huge) and then scones with cream and jam. Everything was wonderful.

Just popped in for lunch and found the perfect place. If you visit try the ham stokie followed by the cream tea, you won't be disappointed. Ask for the wifi code. It's free.

If you are in the village of Luss when visiting Loch Lomond you are a bit of a captive market which is reflected in the prices. £3.70 for a slice of cake, £2.70 for an ordinary Latte. You do get two hours of wifi, you need a code but it was a bugger to use it as our devices never... More

My wife and I called in on Xmas eve for a light lunch. Not too many people in and we were led to a small table for 2 near to the fireplace and window. It was so drafty that it was too uncomfortable and cold. The staff must have known this, we moved and I did note that other couples... More

Found the Coach House while waiting for our Loch Lomond cruise from Luss. Had a very nice snack of cakes, tea and coffee. Just the thing to warm up before going out on the chilly Loch!

8 & 12 Dec 2014 I have 2 lodges on Loch Lomond, so I am in the area for 2 weeks every year, and make regular visits to the Coach House during those weeks. On Mon 8 Dec, the place was very cold, so we asked that they put the wood-burner "on", only to be told that there were no... More
