Food was tasty and well presented and a very good portion size. Service was very friendly and efficient. A great place to stop for a meal if you are touring the Trossachs.

Lovely friendly staff, great service and lovely meal. Went in on a recommendation. Husband devoured the steak pie and I loved my Thai noodle soup. Such a nice ambiance, friendly attentive staff. The food was very fresh and tasty. Loved the steak pie and fish and chips. Will be back when we next visit.

Excellent soup - large plate, followed by great steak pie. Oters ahd fish & chips and Thai curry. Everyone stuffed and satisfied. Good service. Would definitely eat here again.

Yes, dinner was a nice local find, with fresh area produce and fish at the ready. I believe the owner came by, or certainly the "boss", to make sure we were being served well and that we were enjoying our time there. Plentiful goods placed on our plates.

The restaurant at the Old Smiddy is a cosy experience, with lots of tables squeezed into the small building. Great service, atmosphere and food. The best meal we had in Scotland. Wait staff was attentive. Menu had many items with excellent portions. Fish and chips were the best. Desserts were delicious.

Whilst staying in Killin was recommended by the owner of the holiday lodge where we were staying to have a meal at the Old Smiddy. We were not disappointed the service was excellent, the portions of the fish and chips did not disappoint, it arrived piping hot.
