We had another (3rd) excellent meal here this week. Service as usual was great. We had the starter (chicken, veg. and mushroom pakora), 2 mains (chicken curry and chicken Bhuna) plus pilau rice and naan for £20 certinly cannot complain about the price when the food was delicious. We cannot complain about the food, staff or decor just a bit... More

We have an inpromptu meal here as had heard good reviews. Had onion bhajis for starter, arrived in a basket with a generous portion of salad. 3 lare bhajis but unfortunately they were over cooked and hard although the taste was good in the centre. Had a mango based curry that was mild and creamy with a generous portion size.... More

When asked if I enjoyed the plateful of starter I left, I said no, the waiter said was the onion bhaji too hard as he saw me struggle to... More

I'll be honest my experience of Indian restaraunts is that they're pretty much all the same with standard sauces and dishes that have a distinctly average flavour and I didn't expect this to be any different. Glad to say I was wrong! My husband and I actually went here after we first went to another local Indian restaraunt but it... More

Tiny seaside town. Tiny unassuming restaurant opposite the train station. Great indian food. Really great. The staff are equally unassuming but pleasant. Standard fare so don't expect revolution on the menu. Inexpensive. I loved this place

Very high quality food, lovely staff, perfect place to spend an evening enjoying the best curries or get a takeaway for a great meal at home. Lots of vegetarian choices too. Helensburgh is worth the visit just for the food here!
