Had a wonderful evening meal here. It was a Monday night and a couple of the locals had been allowed to set up and play some classic songs. Brilliant idea, and long may it continue. We were shown to a table by Lisa, who was wonderfully polite and pleasant. She took drinks orders and when we were ready, came back... More

My husband and I frequent from time to time and never once have we been disappointed. Slight change of menu but still the same high standard of food, service and even better, it comes with a smile. By far the best pub and food within a 5 mile radius.

Me and the curly redhead opted for the Taste of Scotland menu. We both had the Cullen Skink, Braised Shin of Beef and the 'Taste of Scotland' desert. The pudding consisted of Fried mini Mars bar, irn bru float and tablet ice-cream – despite the urban myth that we all eat deep fried Mars bars in Scotland this was my... More

I stopped in for a birthday lunch. The immediate impression was it was very quiet but a very welcoming. The food was very good and freshly cooked. We had a lovely seat in the conservatory and with it being a beautiful sunny day it made for a lovely birthday lunch. It was very quite but I am sure it must... More

Been to this place a few times admittedly more for drinks than food. The bar and restaurant are very nicely decorated, always clean and when I have eaten food is always good. Since the last time I have visited it looks like a couple of micro brewery ales on offer which were very tasty.
