As part of our annual "Shyles Of Pyte" musical tour, this year we were back in Scotland, based in Drymen and one of our days out was to Balmaha for a look around the area concluding with a stop at the Oak Tree Inn for lunch and to play a session of music. The staff were aware of our visit... More

The staff are pleasent and the food is lovely, large portions and value for money. The bar is very cosy with a real log fire. The restaurant is also lovely, decorated... More

This is hoe a pub should be in Scotland; nice pub food, a extensive whiskey collection and friendly people that serve you. Just perfect.

We popped in for a few beers, scones & tea and soup after a climb. The atmosphere was lovely, the scones and soup absolutely delicious. The soup in particular we were still discussing the next day! I would happily recommend :)

Friends took me for a tour of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond area and the plan was to arrive at this inn for dinner. Lovely staff as we arrived soaked by the rain. They took our jackets to dry out whilst we ate. Meal was fabulous, service was good and the decorations for Halloween made the night.
