The food at duck bay is very good. Large portions, beautifully presented and tasty. I found the prices very reasonable too with starters from £4-£7 and mains £10-15. The staff are all young and keen, service was a little slow when we were there but it was very busy.

We went round just for a few drinks in the afternoon, it took more than 20 minutes to get served 2 drinks at the bar, the staff were not very on ball or attentive. However as a location it is lovely with a great view over the Loch and great to watch the water planes take off and land.

We ate here tonight and our meal was delicious. What really stood out for us was the extremely good service we received from start to finish. The staff are all young, very polite and friendly and really seem to be happy working there. We will be back soon.

Having visited the Duck Bay Hotel a number of times over the past twenty years or so, it is still a great place on a fine day to sit on the terrace, supping your beverage of choice, and gaze out over Loch Lomond to Ben Lomond. Certainly, it is more relaxed, and with much better views, than any of the... More

When I visit my family in Scotland I always visit Duck Bay as I love the setting as it is on the banks of Loch Lomond. The restaurant has an excellent choice in food and the price is reasonable. There is a lovely outdoor area. The service is always very good.

I've been to Duck Bay Restaurant at Loch Lomond quite a few times now. My husband is from Scotland, and every time we are up visiting, we make a trip across the Erskine Bridge to Loch Lomond. The menu is varied, and offers a large range of traditional Scottish food. The food never disappoints, and is always very tasty. The... More

I can forgive the waiter who dropped a full glass of St Emilion over my husband's shirt and trousers, not to mention my new designer dress. I appreciate the free bottle of wine and offer to pay dry cleaning. What I cannot forgive is the fact that we sat for at least 25 minutes having finished with our main course... More

It never fails to amaze just how consistently good this place is and we have been coming a couple of times a year for ages now. Despite being extremely busy we were seated in ten minutes and the food arrived some ten minutes after that. As always the fish and chips were cooked to perfection. Excellent in every respect.

As always the food is outstanding and the staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. Modern decor, but still incorporating the traditional Scottish restaurant atmosphere. It's comfortable, clean, and a great all round place. Such amazing views over the loch, so bring your camera. There's a great choice of food and drink, definitely a place for all the... More
