I booked the Duck Bay Marina to stay as I was attending a wedding along the road in a neighbouring venue. I called in the morning of the wedding to ask if I could possibly get ready there as I was travelling from Glasgow and didn't want to crush my outfit. I was told in no uncertain terms check in... restaurant couldnt accept booking for 40 guests without a £10 each deposit!!! never heard of this in my life. We were trying to get tables together for a party of wedding guests at nearby hotel and ended all up at different tables as the manager said the kitchen couldnt cope with large orders despite the restaurant having at least 80... Yes it`s all a bit OTT in terms of decor and finishes, but you can`t beat this loch side location and the delightful views across to the Ben. Actually, the restaurant is immaculately clean and well appointed. The service is very attentive - they made a special effort speaking to our little one. Good enough coffees, drinks and cakes -... I had my wedding here in May and have also eaten here a few times with my family! A little bit expensive but not incredibly so and the food is definitely worth it! On the times I have been the staff and service have been great! Plus it has that amazing view of the loch, definitely worth a visit!

We took our elderly parents for dinner at this restaurant which sits right next to Loch Lomond. A beautiful location, with the dining room windows offering a marvellous vista of the Loch. One of our party was in a wheelchair and the fact that the restaurant had suitable facilities was a bonus. Staff were very helpful but the food although... More

Ate there on Saturday 27th September 2014.Arrived around mid day without a reservation and were shown to a table by the window overlooking the Loch. Fantastic views, Staff were friendly and there were plenty of them around.Food was excellent and reasonably priced.Get there early though as it gets pretty busy which is always a good sign of quality service.

Chips and veg were cold. Burger buns not fresh or microwaved. No member of staff available. Not asked how meal was. Manager rude and disinterested in our complaint. Spoiled a nice day out.
