We called in here for lunch, to sit outside with the dogs. The waitress was friendly and bought the dogs a bowl of fresh water. We ordered paninis and lattes. It was quite pricey for a simple panini. A coach trip that arrived made the beautiful quiet location become very packed and noisy! All in all was an ok place... More

Went for a meal out with family for a special occasion, was so embarrassed, I will never recommend to anyone. The food was of "bad" quality and lacking in presentation. The food when we eventually got it, was cold and no sign of plates being heated at all. Also food was not cooked properly, some of the food ordered was... More

This was without doubt the poorest meal that we have had anywhere. The table was dirty and the cutlery filthy. The starters came and the portion size was paltry but edible barely. The mains followed after an unacceptably long delay and were lukewarm and tasteless. Presentation was non existent. It looked as though someone had thrown it onto the plate..After cutting... More

We were here a couple of days ago, luckily in brilliant sunshine. If we are passing we often try and pop in for lunch. We have been several times before, but there seemed to be a new fabulous seating area, or maybe we had never noticed it before, but it was across the road and right on the waters edge.... More

very friendly owner, delicious scone. Some difficulty in parking. Nothing to do with Bistro but vehicles without disabled card parked several times in disabled parking space. One was van with Road maintanance on it.

A warm welcome and good homely fare await you here. There are theme nights but have the burgers or the shellfish....and a meringue !

The owners are wonderful and the food and drinks are first class. It is a central hub of the village and is a great place to meet the locals

Revisited this bistro but unfortunately did not have same experience as on previous occasions (down to the absence of the friendly lady owner ). The waiting staff were pleasant and the food was ok but after sending back a meringue with runny cream which tasted off, we were approached by a surly gentleman/ manager who remonstrated that there was nothing... Stopped here for a lunchtime coffee and scone - both were good. Great place to sit outside on a sunny and watch life go by - slowly! Would definitely recommend.
