We last visited 6 years ago. It was worth the wait. We had coffee and scones, the type of scones change frequently. Luckily treacle scones were on the menu- heavenly. We also had a take away chocolate fudge brownie reported as the best ever. The tea room is cosy and clean. All cakes and soup are homemade. Well worth a... More

We make a point of always popping in to Robin's Nest every year we're near Oban on holiday and again, we weren't disappointed. The ladies who run this are all very friendly and the quality of all the home baking, soups, sandwiches, is second to none. As it's all made on site, the smell is delicious. Really pet friendly offering... More

This is the best place to eat and chill. Excellent sandwiches; the soups are to die for and changes daily; and the pastries melt in your mouth. Amazing women who run this place. And they have wonderful art work too; and are really friendly. Gem of a place.

And while in the village pop in to the... More

We have an annual charity cycle to Oban from Glasgow and this was our 10th year. Each year we stop at the Robin's Nest just to sample the outstanding food. It is always busy so it's best to try and miss the peak dining period. In Taynuilt you have to turn right off the main road to find it in... More
