We have been to the cafe at the Ariundle Centre a few years ago for coffee and for lunch and were reasonably happy with the experiences so we decided to stop in for a coffee and cake on our way over from Mull to the Corran Ferry. We can now honestly say that we would no longer recommend this place... More

Great food. Well thought-out menu - with local produce available. Desserts were particularly good. Good value all-round. Well stocked bar with plenty of choices for bottled beer. They also had some real-ale on tap. Very friendly owner and helpful staff. One of the best places for groups in the Western Highlands.

We called at the Centre twice during our weeklong holiday in Ardnamurchan. It is a peaceful place to relax after a walk in the oakwoods, with a rustic verandah overlooking the glen. It was such an enjoyable afternoon that we returned for a birthday meal at the end of the week, and again this was delicious and freshly cooked, with... More

This quirky homely restaurant/cafe was just along the single track from our holiday home. We read the reviews on trip advisor and ordered a meal to pick up, so we could enjoy by the fire at home. What a wonderful idea and service they provide. The best is though the food which speaks for itself. I had thee most succulent,... More

Like other reviewers we called at the last minute which isnt a good idea in this part of the world. Thankfully, the Ariundle Centre had ample space. Whilst we were there on a damp midweek evening there were only two other tables but the Centre is in a remote location. There were around 5 startes and 5 main courses. The... More

We stopped here twice during a recent visit to Strontian whilst walking in the beautiful woods close by. We had tea with delicious cakes and also coffee the second time we visited. The staff were very friendly and we used their internet access while we sat and looked at the view. It was very quiet when we were there but... More

A true change from pub food. Freshly cooked food with a menu that really changed from one night to the next. it was nice to see menu with no chips on it!

We arrived early evening in Strontian with our two kids, desperate to find any accomodation and/or restaurants to have dinner after 8 pm. The Ariundle Center team gave us exceptionally warm welcome, cooked (excellent) dinner for us, allowed us to use their commodities, stay in the tea-room until late at night and the whole morning as it was raining heavily,... Been driving to the west and stopped at a few places before, just to walk away as the price tags on their menus were rather shocking. On approaching this place we almost didn't go as it looked more like a deserted community hall and the parking space was empty as well. However, we were starving, so walked inside, hoping to...
