We had a family lunch here. A pleasant little cafe, however having ordered a chowder for lunch I was a little disappointed to receive a soup which bore little resemblance to a chowder and was fairly bland, accompanied by a bread roll which was still frozen in the centre. Our youngest, however, thoroughly enjoyed his pie beans and chips!

A cracking little place and the staff and food are excellent, whatever your needs nothing is ever to much bother if only there were more places like this

I really don't tend to write reviews but having visited this cafe at the weekend and many times during previous visits to Strontian, I feel that this cafe needed some praise for the brilliant experience I have had there. The food is tremendous and good value for money considering you are well off the beaten track at this point. It... More

Not a great deal of choice to be had around here for lunch time stops took a chance on this place, however wasn't too impressed I had a bacon and Brie ciabatta and the cheese seemed to be on the turn, the fish and chips my husband had were ok but the fish was a bit wet and made the... More

We actually drove past this and then decided we needed a brew and a bit of breakfast. So glad we did as the big breakfast barm was absolutely delicious. They also do lovely homemade cakes. The staff are really friendly and although the place doesn't look up to much and the toilets are only so-so, it's really sets up your... More

We always stop here on our drive from Connel Ferry to Ardnamurchan. The café is clean with friendly staff and nice home cooked cakes and snacks. Beverages include decaf. You can sit inside or on a nice terrace. There is ample free parking and reasonable toilets. Adjoining the café is a small shop and interesting pottery

We had just arrived at Strontian and stopped in to the cafe to grab some food. It doesn't look much from the outside and it's a regular looking cafe on the inside. Cheery service, pretty good menu and excellent prices made me think this was going to be too good to be true. Food was good. One of the party... More

Satyed in Strontian for a week at the end of May and found ourselves visiting the cafe several times. The welcome is fantastic, the food is homely and fresh and the freshly baked cakes are very hard to avoid! A good selection on the menu and specials board with a few tables inside and a lovely little terrace outside to... More
