Aside from the extremely average food, the café is about as welcoming as a sneeze at Heathrow. The manager was trying to pretend he was operating some high end café but he just isn't. If you want higher end and quality, go round the corner to the Smiddy. I have had much worse food than I was served here. I... More

The batter was tasteless and soggy not even seasoned and fish full of bones, chips tasteless and the mushy peas a congealed lump on plate. Even the cup of tea was awful, cheapest budget teabags what... More

We stopped here and enjoyed fish and chips. They were fresh and tasty. The staff were a wee bit miserable and not exactly cheerful. However, they were busy and I suppose the food was nice enough.
