Excellent fresh seafood

The menu had a very good and wide selection of seafood and some meats. Our order was served promptly and piping hot. All the dishes consumed by our party of four were excellent. The service was excellent. Our visit was only spoiled by a very loud party of six at an adjoining table.

A beautiful location for this bar and restaurant looking out over the harbour of moored boats. Fresh seafood deliciously prepared. Definitely worth taking a trip over to Carsaig to see the sunset, it's amazing.

Lovely situation, and the option to eat outside if you wish. Service excellent. My lunch, seafood soup was excellent. The main course of haddock and chips was a bit disappointing given it cost £11.50. The fish itself was very good but the batter very greasy and left an aftertaste, Felt a bit let down by it, given the price.

Very welcoming and friendly with excellent food. The Inn is also situated in a wonderful scenic location, worth the journey to find this gem.

This is really a hidden gem in an unassuming small restaurant and bar. Went twice in one week ordering the beautifully cooked scallops with chorizo twice. Children are welcome and good choice for them too. Definitely a MUST on your travels around argyll.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming outside of this pub, the food is fantastic. I had a main course of Mussels in Cider and the portion was enormous, they were absolutely delicious. My partner had Scallops which he equally enjoyed. The bar lady was really friendly and welcoming. Grab a window seat and take in the beautiful village of Tayvallich... More

Visited at the end of our holiday and wished we'd found it sooner. We received a really warm welcome when we arrived at the start of lunchtime. Got the pick of tables and managed to get a great view over the water - views don't come much better than this. The menu was extensive and, from what we could tell,... More

We dropped by in May 2015 and had Deluxe Burger and Fish and Chips for Lunch. The food was superb, well cooked and good size portions. The staff where very friendly, it was not busy but we did not feel pressured. They view into the harbour is brilliant and on a nice day, it was lovely to just sit and... More

Visited this gem for dinner twice within a week, and found its menu even more interesting than last year, and with the same warm welcome and service. Try the haddock pakora or the home-made cheesecake, and don't miss their Ness Brewery ales on draught. A great destination if you're cycling in the area. And a view to die for!

Great little place tucked away in Tayvallich, well worth a visit. Great food, sizeable portions and value for money. Bar and restaurant were neat, tidy and clean, service was very good and staff were friendly. Highly recommended!
