The Inn is set in beautiful surroundings and very well worth a visit. Great food (good fish for parents and excellent burgers for the children) and good service. We will definitely return when we can.

Nice bar area and separate restaurant. Really good food with minimal fuss & well presented. Very relaxed service and good value for money. Good mix of scottish seafood dishes and other offerings on a menu thats not too big. Portion size of the king scallop dish was very good & refreshing compared to some restaurants who seem to think 3... More

On holiday for a few days and saw this was local so popped in for dinner. Excellent service, food, atmosphere, would love to visit on a warm sunny day. Fish and chips excellent, fish was so tasty and obviously fresh. If you are close by you will not be disappointed.

Called at this place whilst on holiday in Scotland staying in Minard, after seeing in Michelin Guide Eating Out in Pubs, set in stunning scenery, ate starters as wanted light lunch so ordered scallops and pâté, well presented and excellent, ate in bar which is very traditional pool table, darts, but has restaurant dining also, spotlessly clean.

Turned up on spec having seen some road signs and were reasonably close! Sat in the public bar overlooking the loch, quite stunning...it was busy but we got a table no problem. The staff were lovely, really freindly and helpful and the place itself was lovely & clean. But it has to be said that the show stealer was without... More

Tayvallich has had many owners since the... More

We've had dinner a few times at the Tayvallich Inn and each time what a wonderful experience. With sub zero temperatures outside, the cosy fire alight in the bar was more than welcoming! We had lovely food on all occasions, in particular the scallops and fish and chips were delicious! To top it off the service was great, the staff... More

Visited Tayvallich Inn as part of a party of 7 people on Saturday 12 October for my girlfirend's birthday. I have been a couple of times before and knew the service was a bit slow but this time was beyond slow. The table was booked for 6.30pm, we arrived on time. There was another 3 or 4 tables in the...
