The Holly Tree is a nice restaurant, located in a nice hotel. There is an absolutely stunning view from the restaurant. The only problem is the food isn't good. Although my fish was fine, the chips were obviously the frozen sort...the only frozen chips we were served during 3 weeks in Scotland. My husband ordered a bison burger which was... More

Had a lovely meal of Salmon in lobster thermidor sauce. Booked a table...efficient and friendly service from quite a young staff. The meal was quite delicious.... Salmon absolutely cooked to perfection. Also great to go out on to the verandah and watch the setting sun. The hotel is certainly in a beautiful location...would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the... More

Restaurant is located on the loch with great views. Make sure to make reservations as it is a very busy spot.

My wife and I ate a late dinner at the Holly Tree Restaurant on August 2nd based on a recommendation from our B&B owners. The restaurant was crowded when we arrived around 8 p.m. but we were able to get a table after a short wait. The views of Loch Linnhe from the dining room were spectacular. We do not... More

Three years ago we dined at this restaurant during our first visit to Glen Coe. We had a lovely dinner then, and so returned during our second stay in Glen Coe this year. We were not disappointed! The food is simply delicious. Even the 'simple' pasta was fantastic. They have both 'classic' and original dishes, and a large choice of... More

To celebrate a friends 30th birthday, 7 of us stayed the night at the Holly Tree and had dinner and drinks that night. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely with beautiful sea views. A few of us are seafood lovers and the Holly Tree did not disappoint! Our meal was beautiful... More

We ate in here a few times during our stay mainly because of the kids, but the food was ok nothing to write home about. The service was very bad, the staff more interested in talking & carrying on amongst themselves than attending to customers.

The tables are reserved and the view is magnificent, whether you're inside or out.. We had dinner there two nights straight. We ate in the restaurant the first evening and in the bar the following night. You will see beautiful mountains in the distance and watch as the many boats and ships happen by. The sunsets are outstanding, all seen... More
