The staff were always very friendly and the food was of a very high standard. We were able to take our dog with us into the bar area and enjoy the restaurant menu. Would highly recommend the oak smoked salmon - delicious!

Had a family meal here during a stay at the lodges beside the hotel the service was very good. Choice was excellent we were looking for a good seafood restaurant and found what we were looking for here a wee gem at reasonable prices.

Love all of the food served here, the duck and seafood platter are a must try along with the burger served in the pub section. The only downside is there aren't very many vegetarian options.

We went there with a friend for dinner (without a reservation), and enjoyed the beautiful view over the loch Linnhe. The service was fast and friendly. I had the soup of the day, very good and quite filling, and a baked fillet of seabass, which definitely made it to my top 5 of the best fish I've ever had. My... More

We pitched up without a reservation on a Sunday evening. The hostess sat us at a window table. Floor to ceiling window, mind you, overlooking Loch Linnhe. Service was prompt and friendly, and the menu was varied with an emphasis on local produce. I had langoustine caught from the Loch, followed by venison. Hubby had Cullen Skink followed by pasta.... I chose to sit outside, which, for this time of year was going to be a time of competing with the midges: me for food, them for me! Apart from that, I couldn't fault the food for the night meal, or the presentation of breakfast.

The Holly Tree is a nice restaurant, located in a nice hotel. There is an absolutely stunning view from the restaurant. The only problem is the food isn't good. Although my fish was fine, the chips were obviously the frozen sort...the only frozen chips we were served during 3 weeks in Scotland. My husband ordered a bison burger which was... More

Had a lovely meal of Salmon in lobster thermidor sauce. Booked a table...efficient and friendly service from quite a young staff. The meal was quite delicious.... Salmon absolutely cooked to perfection. Also great to go out on to the verandah and watch the setting sun. The hotel is certainly in a beautiful location...would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the... More
