We went for a pre-cinema meal to Zaika and this was our first visit. We both thought the food was lovely and that the flavours and style of the food offered something different. We had Chicken puri and mixed pakoras to start with. The puri was chicken wrapped in a pancake style bread, v tasty and the pakoras were lovely... More

Another great night at the Zailka. The food was delicious and the staff were as attentive as ever. Our friends from East Lothian love coming through to this restaurant.

Went in the restaurant this time instead of opting for a takeaway with 4 of my friends. Food was great and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The popodoms with the spiced onions and chutney to start with was amazing!

I recently celebrated a special event here with my friends and colleagues and as always the service was second to none. Every effort was made to accomodate a variety of demands and Oscar and his team could not have been more helpful. They made a perfect end to an amazing day Thank you all

This must be one of the best Indian restaurants my family and I have ever eaten in. We have used this restaurant for 6 years and it is always the benchmark by which we rate other Indian eateries, this always wins hands down. Give this a try if you are in the Livingston area, you will not be dissapointed.

1st time visit, it's situated at the end of a row of shops and car headlights shine in when it's dark - great when they do because you can see the menu a bit better! Lighting is ambient but difficult to see the menu, very unromantic having my other half read the menu to me but hey it was worth... More

Food is excellent and reasonably priced, but drink prices are a bit over the top. Very good efficient, friendly service. The lighting level could be better, as you struggle to see the food.

Food is excellent. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, which they should be as it's a family run business. Went with my wife on our last night mix if business and pleasure trip based in Livingston. Wish we'd found it earlier! Will definitely visit again of we're up here again.

Visited this lovely place last night with my husband. We hadn't booked but we're lucky enough to get a table. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. Good range of dishes, we started with a sharing platter which was piled high with meat and pakora. I had lamb korma and my husband had creamy chicken tikka massala which tasted amazing.... More
