My boyfriend and I have been here twice through August and we cannot stress enough how good it is. The food is all fresh, portion sizes are generous and the staff are happy to help. If you go with the mixed chicken starter be prepared for the size :) Will be going back!

Don't go if you're hungry as it will take ages to get served. Food when it came was edible but that's about it. Seats were badly stained and the table tops sticky despite the staff cleaning them. Our waitress did her best in trying circumstances.

Cannot believe negative reviews of this restaurant.Food we had was excellent. Chicken sharer was excellent, generous portion & hot. Bbq & Cheese chicken & Chilli Burrito for mains. Both very good.Hot and plentiful. Granted service was not express but by no means slow.Staff helpful & courteous.Overall good value.

this was my 2nd visit with my wife, previously the food was ok but the service was poor and we received free deserts. On this occasion the food was poor, we had the chicken sharer, the chips and fajita bites were cold, there was no eating in the chicken wings which were dry having been cooked to within an inch... We visited The Lime Kiln this afternoon/evening and have no intention of going back. We arrived at 4.30pm so it was fairly quiet. The gentleman who greeted and sat us was lovely and immediately took a drinks order which we received pretty quickly. After about 15 mins a waiter appeared and asked if we'd like to order drinks (though they... More

Went here for dinner one night thinking the food would be fantastic, nothing could be further from the truth. We both ordered Steak (Rare), my partner had it with haggis (an odd combination) I had it with Butterfly Prawns and whisky sauce. The girl who served us hadnt been there long and kept getting the orders wrong. So much so... More

Well priced and on 4 out of 5 ocassions the God has been of a high standard. Staff can be a bit distant at times but generally of an average attitude. Would recommend for a last minute undecided dinner.

Had an excellent meal, very good service. Restaurant was busy but the wait wasn't too long but our waiter kept us informed of potential delay. Very friendly and lots of choice on the menu. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending - far too many difficult customers on here being way too critical!! We had shared the sharing board and both had burgers... More

I visited on 22nd of august for my birthday with my partner. Having visited before I was sent an email offering me a free bottle of wine as it was my birthday. On showing this to the waiter I was told i had to print it out to redeem it which wasn't a condition of the email. They then got... More
