This is a lovely characterful tea room. I had tea and scone my hubby had a toastie both of which were perfect. The gentleman serving was really really friendly and all in all I cannot fault the place. My opinion is that sometimes when a place has no competition they tend to have a couldn't care less attitude with high... More

This place is filled with make-shift tables made out of treadle-sewing-machine wrought iron gizmos, wood slab tops, low ceilings, deep-set windows; it is an old croft house, I believe. The food and coffee are superb. However, I HAD to take photographs of the ladies' rm.--yellow walls, with antique furniture inside, Wm. Morris-type fabrics--GORGEOUS!!! I do not believe there have been... More

Situated in a little town where there aren't a lot of shops this pearl of a tea room offers the outstanding place for a break. Serves excellent coffee and tea plus delicious cakes, cookies, scones and flapjacks! Dont miss a chat with the owner,he's gery inspiring!

We nipped in here for lunch and to satisfy my wife's craving for a scone. The welcome was first class, the jacket potato did the job and the homemade cakes were awesome! I even had a couple of gluten free cake options to choose from :-)

Amazing little cafe with a great selection of soup, sandwiches and baked goods, just what you need to warm you up on a cold Harris day. The coffee is AMAZING! The place is always packed yet somehow the team seem to manage and fit everyone in. The staff are attentive and buzz around so service is quick and easy. Well... More

Just back from a 4 night stay on Harris during which the weather was predictably mixed! First fruits was the perfect warming escape. We had a very large Scottish breakfast equipped with all the trimmings you could want. The service was exceptionally friendly making the little croft tearoom feel very welcoming. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it so much that... More

We popped in for some cake and a cuppa on our way across Harris. Lovely find, very nice staff, huge portions of nice hand cut chips. The place is quaint and cosy, so it can become a bit cramped. Seating is particularly characterful (tables are on the wee side), but definitely a nice pit stop for the hungry traveller. Recommended.
