We nipped in here for lunch and to satisfy my wife's craving for a scone. The welcome was first class, the jacket potato did the job and the homemade cakes were awesome! I even had a couple of gluten free cake options to choose from :-)

Amazing little cafe with a great selection of soup, sandwiches and baked goods, just what you need to warm you up on a cold Harris day. The coffee is AMAZING! The place is always packed yet somehow the team seem to manage and fit everyone in. The staff are attentive and buzz around so service is quick and easy. Well... More

Just back from a 4 night stay on Harris during which the weather was predictably mixed! First fruits was the perfect warming escape. We had a very large Scottish breakfast equipped with all the trimmings you could want. The service was exceptionally friendly making the little croft tearoom feel very welcoming. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it so much that... More

We popped in for some cake and a cuppa on our way across Harris. Lovely find, very nice staff, huge portions of nice hand cut chips. The place is quaint and cosy, so it can become a bit cramped. Seating is particularly characterful (tables are on the wee side), but definitely a nice pit stop for the hungry traveller. Recommended.

Really good coffee in a lovely building. We came on a wet morning before the ferry, having been recommended by my brother who lives on Lewis, and were directed by the ferry staff as it was just too wet to go on a search! It is just a minute's walk up the main road from the terminal. We were lucky... More

As an ex-pat living in Australia for many years, we really miss our coffee when 'back home'. So you can imagine our delight when we happened to drop in to the First Fruits Tearoom. Friendly staff and the most amazing coffee!! I made a point of letting the staff know that it was the best cup of coffee we'd had... More

Lovely wee tea-room with the friendliest of staff!! Homebaking to die for and the most amazing teas and coffee. Had to go back just to sample a little more of the delicious wares! Young waiter was just the sweetest guy with a fantastic memory who could rhyme off all the cakes and baking in a blink of an eye! You... More
