Great Breakfast prior to ferry crossing

The restaraunt opened at 10am on Saturday morning just in time to accept the mulitude of ferry travellers that had just parked-up ready for the ferry crossing a bit later. There is a restaraunt beside the terminal but they stop serving breakfast at 9.30 and the offer of tea and cakes did not... read more

Not appealing or friendly. Boring. The craft fair next door is much more fun when it is running. Outdoor seating is better than in.

For the warm welcome, the fast and friendly service and the food quality this place is unbeatable. Years ago Disney was held up as the great example of customer service, well, this place beats Disney by miles!. The food is good, the staff are so friendly, the chat is good and the service is real quick. We went in a... More

This place was very busy as it was in the centre of Tarbet and the ferry had just arrived. We just managed to get a seat. The waiter was brilliant - run off his feet but always smiling and making jokes with the customers. |Good choice of menu and lovely food. Would certainly recommend.

Perfect for cake and coffee, even breakfast; and not just while waiting for the ferry. Great atmosphere with a very warm welcome by an enthusiastic host.

A superb café run by folks with lots of enthusiasm. We've been here both last year and again in 2015. The coffees, sandwiches etc served are good and decent value. They do a great trade in "take aways" as well and these are uplifted by various workmen and other locals which indicates the popularity of the products. There is only one... More

A brief stop before catching the ferry led us to the friendliest cafe on the islands! The enthusiasm and the service were first class! The coffee and the cakes were excellent. Thanks for the extra shot of coffee in the take away cup. Cheers

My wife and I found this café by accident. It was like finding an oasis in the middle of a desert. If you want a really good cup of coffee and a slice of homemade cake this is the place to come. They even had a selection of gluten free cake. The owners are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. It... More
