We stumbled across Columba 1400 yesterday whilst driving around the isle of Skye on our holidays, the weather was the usual rainy, windy, moody dark day. We came into the town and noticed the little café sign and decided to pop in for a coffee and a toilet stop. Food was lovely and home cooked, scones were really nice with... More

Stopped here for coffee and a snack prior to our hike up the Quiraing (a 15 minute drive away). Staff were very polite and friendly and the homemade scones and cakes were delicious. Plus profits go to help the Center, which is a non-profit. nice views of Staffin and the Quiraing as well.

This place is nice, fine for lunch but nothing special. Very good value. There is a nice window seat looking over Staffin.

Russ had an Angus beef burger, salad and chips, I had lentil soup and a bacon, cheese and tomato pannini, we both had a coffee. The two hot, generous meals came really fast and my soup was as good as if I had made it myself. The place was packed with several tables turning over while we were there-the two... More

Food was OK - just had cake and coffee. The coffee came in a very small cup for the price paid and was very strong. The male member of staff on duty was rather surly. On the plus side, there was plenty of parking space,

This cafe style restaurant is centrally located in the village of Staffin. The food was good, the service was friendly and fast. The wifi connection was reliable and fast. We had a table near the window and had a nice view of the area, as it is more elevated than the rest of the village. I would recommend it, especially... More

This place was recommended to us, popped in for coffee and cakes and was pleasantly surprised. Great interior decor, service excellent. Don't be put off by the giant religious cross on the outside of the building (as seen from the road) and there are no religious references inside the building or the cafe. Very clean, All food and drinks very... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we were doing the An Corran and Staffin beach walk, and what a find it was! The restaurant has spectacular views out across the Quiraing and over and above the views it serves really good quality food that represents excellent value for money. When we went in, it was busy with a coach party... More
