Great seafood, great view, great place.

The menu here is extensive, but not surprisingly given its harbourside location, the thing to go for is seafood. We had a bowl of chowder that was deeply favoured, rich and brim-full of delicious fish and seafood, while later a dish of mussels could have been fresher or more enjoyable. Being the... read more

Ordered Mussels and local Lobster dishes. Asked for some Lemon Mayo which was not part of the meal, but came back over-powering suspect in vitriol to my request. The meals were OK, not the best seafood we had on the trip, Mussels not cleaned properly for the standard of restaurant. What did surprise us was no finger bowl until asked... More

my friend and i enjoyed this place a lot, although usually we don't have much faith in small hotel restaurants, this one is an exception. the location is perfect, right on the harbor, the restaurant setting is modern and proper. seafood is excellent-of coz, i had the lobster tail which was delicious, and the dessert baked alaska is amazing as... One of the very few restaurants that could accommodate a large group. Was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the few very good.

This is a nice location in a hotel. The staff are pleasant but we did wait quite a while for our drinks to arrive and I did ask at least 4 times.I had Lobster which i thought tasted really good however I have never eaten Lobster before so nothing to compare it to. My partner was happy with his meal.... More

. We have been dining at your establishment for the last three years and have always enjoyed the seafood platter (although this has declined over the years in its content). Last year after our meal we spoke to the chef about our upcoming wedding on 5th August on Isle of Skye and how your establishment was one of out favourite... More

The restaurant is a cosy little place on the first floor, with an excellent view of the harbour if you get a table near the window. The food is one of the more talked about cuisine in Portree and worth the reputation. The sea food is fresh and very tasty.

We stayed at the hotel and booked a table for our first night. I'm so glad that we did as the restaurant is very small, so I would strongly suggest reserving a table. We had a great table with harbor views, but we were fortunate enough to sit by the window, although all tables had a view. We ordered the... More
