The Aros is not just your usual tourist outlet it also has a cinema and a restaurant / cafe.We had lunch here and the food and service was very good.I would say the Aros is a good place to visit if the weather is bad but unless you visit the cinema your visit will not take long.It has the usual... we had visited the center earlier in the day and returned for the evening meal - very impressed, food was perfectly prepared, presented and with a very a fair price. Drinks were excellent and the coffee perfect for me. The daytime menu looked a little expensive - but the location views and easy parking make it worthwhile.

I have been going to the Isle of Skye for the last eighteen years and the Aros Centres was definitely one of the places to visit when in Portree. It is a cinema, restaurant/cafe, tourist shop and has a wonderful woodland walk. When I went this year I couldn't believe how it seems to have gone down hill. The restaurant... More

We eat here quite regularly and have never experienced the delays that other reviewers mention. There have been a few problems though: under-cooked lasagna and over cooked burgers. These problems have been quickly fixed by the staff and complimentary drinks supplied. I'll continue coming here and will give more stars after a few more meals if they up their game.

this was a lovely place to have lunch with my parents and 5yr old, comfortable and cosy with the added bonus of having a gift shop attached, staff were lovely in particular Wullie the waiter and Flora from the kitchen, accessible for disabled so no issues for my dad, will definately go again.

Nothing whatsoever about the Sea Eagles in the shops except one post card. I ordered Venison Burger with Red Berries, it arrived and nearly broke my teeth, terrible I got a new burger as a replacement which was exactly the same. This is the worst food I have ever tasted and would not recommend to anyone.

We have just had an evening meal here tonight, picked 2 of the specials off the board. (1) Rump steak, side salad + hand cut chips, (2) Hamburger, side salad + hand cut chips. Big portions and the side salad was very fresh. Both dishes were well presented and hot - the hand cut chips looked amazing and tasted great.... More

We went to the Aros Centre to see a great concert by Blazin' Fiddles. We had booked into the restaurant for a pre-concert meal. We booked for 6pm, with the concert starting at 7.30. We anticipated having 2 or 3 courses. We had one. There was no time for another course. Even that was poor; a shank from an anorexic... More

Had the unfortunate experience of visiting this place prior to a concert. We were ignored by the staff whilst they took orders from tables arriving long after us. Eventually our order was taken but no food arrived before the concert was due to commence. We cancelled our order and walked out. A waste of an hour and a half due... More

We had tickets to a show which started at 7.30pm so we arrived just after 6pm, thinking we would have plenty of time for a 3 course meal before hand. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! After waiting 25 minutes for our order to be taken, we decided that there wouldn't be enough time to eat 3 courses, so just ordered drinks and a... More
