This small inauspicious fish restaurant is fast gaining nationwide recognition as one of the best and most exciting places to eat in Scotland.
With a superb location & stunning sea views on the upper floor of the Calmac building on Tobermory pier, and their own fishing boat landing fresh local shellfish - its an experience not to be missed. Just turn up unannounced for lunch, but book in advance for dinner. Lots on offer for non fish eaters too.

A bit late with this review but it needed saying. I was sailing around Britain last year with my wife and spent a few days in Tobermory. Having met up with a few friends we decided to book the Cafe Fish on a recommendation. Can't speak more highly about the place. We got the last booking for the following day.... More

The photos make this place look a bit fancier than it is. It's really just a small hole-in-the-wall place featuring fresh local seafood at a reasonable price. It's at the far end of the harbor, on the second floor of the ferry pier. Most folks find it by accident. Many locals eat here, so you know its good. It's pretty... More

Everyone in our group was delighted with the food. It's a small restaurant, and cozy, it's a small restaurant, and cozy, with a good view of the harbor, naturally, and everything feels unrushed, and the food was superb.

Visited Cafe Fish with my family. Cafe Fish does not live up to the hype: - Long and confusing menu - Bland food - More aggressive table turning than the best restaurants in London - Expensive There are far better options in Tobermory.

Lovely restaurant, fab food, great choices with an amazing location. We had our 2nd visit here and decided on different food so we were able to see what else was on offer. We were not disappointed, the quality was excellent. We only wish we could take the restaurant home with us to Sheffield! Good value for quality, fresh food well... More

Love this place and we came Two nights in a row. Staff are very friendly and knowledgable. Seafood is fabulous and the wine was delicious. Can't wait to return in the springtime.

Very good food in a special location. Only detraction is the wine is over-priced, which means I didn't have a nice white wine with my lovely fish.
