Went with family. Had not booked, but suitable table arrangement made up with no fuss. Make sure you go up the steps to this restaurant. The one on the ground floor is NOT IT! Menu was excellent and varied. I had the fish stroganoff. £17.50 Brilliant. So tasty, and although it didn't look too much, filled me completely. We did... More

We were recommend this restaurant by a friend and we were not disappoint. Very friendly service and a fantastic seafood menu, which will take time to work through - see chalk board as well! I enjoyed Queenies (scallops) to start with, half a Lobster Thermidor for main and finished with the whisky infused chic pot. As the place is not... More

Had a great lunch on a sunny day in October. Lovely fresh langoustines with a glass of wine was perfect, overlooking the bay.

We've had several lunches and dinners at Cafe Fish now and ate twice recently during our annual holiday in Scotland - once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is always excellent with a great choice of locally caught fish and shellfish on offer. We ate fresh and simply prepared langoustines and oysters for starters as well as delicious... More

We went there with friends that we wanted to say thank you to. I had the Sole in chilli and ginger butter, it was the best one I have ever had! Some of our friends had surf and turf, beautiful steak and Langoustines and scallops, a bit pricey at £30, but they all enjoyed it! One odd thing that made... More

Well it does not look that good from outside, situated at the far end of Tobermory high St next to the ferry terminal and on top of another cafe. You enter up an old staircase, there is a balcony with chairs and tables,(these fill up quickly even in cold weather) the inside is funky, everything is done for easiness, no... More

This our 3rd visit and was not quite as good this time, the setting is lovely and the staff are attentive but this time I felt a bit disappointed with the meal I selected: halibut on a bed of roasted veggies, for some reason it appeared the roast veg was in a tasteless gravy a odd mix with such lovely... We visited Cafe Fish during our the Mull Rally this year which made it our 5th visit in all. We both had fish chowder to start and this was gentle and well seasoned with a decent amount of mussels and fresh fish in it. The granary bread served with it was the perfect accompaniment. The Goan fish curry my husband... More

I'm too many decades old to say but at Cafe Fish I had the best scallops I've ever eaten. Locally harvestedand done with mushrooms in a creamy sauce with a crusty topping, they were the fattest, juiciest scallops imaginable. And a generous serving at a reasonable price, too! Partner enjoyed her first haddock experience, too. Beautiful and fresh it was.... More

If you are visiting Mull and enjoy your food then it would be criminal not to go to this very reasonably priced Restaurant. Probably the best Oysters I have had anywhere in the UK stood out for me and the fish was impeccable.
