Sitting outside for lunch on a sunny terrace is not that common in Scotland in the 2nd half of September, but that (and the view over Tobermory) certainly added to the experience at Cafe Fish. More important was wonderfully flavoursome smoked salmon, fabulous coquilles St Jacques (great sauce and beautiful scallops) and lovely peat smoked haddock. Just really, really good... More

We had a wonderful meal here, but had to book ahead as it is so popular. How the chef produces such great food from such a small cooking area is amazing. I had wonderfully fresh mussels followed by the best scallops I have ever tasted. It really is a cafe with no pretensions of being otherwise. Well worth a visit.

We came across this restaurant by chance and it was a good job we arrived early because all the tables soon filled up. As it was a warm late summer day we sat outside on the balcony which gives great views over the harbour of Tobermory. The seafood goulash was the best thing I have eaten for a long time,... More

A beautifully situated restaurant overlooking the lovely Tobermory bay. King prawn and a smoked salmon starter were our 2 choices. Quite tasty and fresh rather than fantastic or superb. Mains of haddock in a buttery sauce and a fish goulash were next on our pilgrimage to find the best fish fayre in Mull. It has to be said that the... More

Fantastic place. Need to book as it is small. All local food served. They have their own boat and the specials of the day are whatever they catch. Lots of lovely seafood - have eaten in there many times and have never had a bad meal. WARNING - large portions served so go in hungry!

We went here for an evening meal and it was so good we went back for lunch a few days later. Excellent, fresh fish, lovely views across the harbour and god, friendly service. Had the fish stew for lunch and it was about the best I've had. Coffee was good too.

Small with bags of atmosphere. Fish, fresh from the family fishing boat. Great menu. Make sure to book early in advance for evenings.

Looks a bit tatty, but the best fish I've eaten in a long time. You will need to book as only 13 tables

Fantastic food, only spent 2 night on Mull, we'll have to go back soon to try out more of the extensive menu.
