Really great fish and chips. Always very popular so it seems lots of people would agree. Highly Recommended.

We had excellent fish and chips from the chip can on the Pier, Thoroughly recommended. Not the sort of thing we normally do on holiday but had read good reviews so thought we'd try it and it lived up to the good reviews.

The Pier Fish and Chip Van doesn't look any different from any other mobile fish and chip unit, until you look at the menu. You can have a host of fresh seafood freshly cooked, which other chip shops would die to be able to offer. The chips are plentiful but not greasy, and the seafood is fresh and tasty. There is... More

Ok the fish (haddock) was fresh and good, I ordered the large, it was a tiddler, I'm surprised it was even landed due to the rules. Really it should have been illegal. This fish & chip van is a tourist rip-off. Frozen chips and I can't believe people fall for this, take a good look at yourselves, please. The two... More

When I approached the van there were 3 other customers just loitering, I wasn't sure if they had been served or not, gradually their orders were handed out and then there was just me. A short while later I was eventually asked what I would like, I ordered a chunky cod and a large haddock, the haddock was in no... More

Wanted a quick meal as had only just arrived in Tobermory. As far as take away fish and chips go it was as good as we've ever had, nice size portion and very fresh. Would recommend.

Look, it's a fish and chip van, right. If you're looking for gourmet food go to a restaurant. It's a good place to take in the local goings-on while snacking on good fish and maybe cracking a sneaky bottle of red wibe in plastic cups to go with it, like we did. The fish was pretty good and the fresh... More

Purchased a portion of chips last week - what a mistake. The chips came in a 5" x 5" polystyrene container and cost £2.50. The young female serving looked so disinterested in what she was doing, there was no smile or pleasantries exchanged. They don't need to worry because the tourist season will be over in a month or so.... More

We didn't plan to eat fish and chips on our visit to Tobermory but found it very difficult not to because of the smell. We had large battered fish and chips. The portion wasn't large so I wouldn't like to see the normal sized portion. The taste of the fish was amazing and so tasty. We had fish and chips... More
