Look, it's a fish and chip van, right. If you're looking for gourmet food go to a restaurant. It's a good place to take in the local goings-on while snacking on good fish and maybe cracking a sneaky bottle of red wibe in plastic cups to go with it, like we did. The fish was pretty good and the fresh... More

Purchased a portion of chips last week - what a mistake. The chips came in a 5" x 5" polystyrene container and cost £2.50. The young female serving looked so disinterested in what she was doing, there was no smile or pleasantries exchanged. They don't need to worry because the tourist season will be over in a month or so.... More

We didn't plan to eat fish and chips on our visit to Tobermory but found it very difficult not to because of the smell. We had large battered fish and chips. The portion wasn't large so I wouldn't like to see the normal sized portion. The taste of the fish was amazing and so tasty. We had fish and chips... More

Excellent fish and chips or something a little more special from the Tobermory institution. We have never missed having one of their delicious, cooked to order, fish suppers during our visits, and never will.

Just what we needed, quick, fresh, delicious fish suppers. Among the best. Especially good as we could eat outdoors, on the hoof in the sunshine and no midges!

Worth stopping for your fish & chips, I gather even Prince Charles had his chips there!! Recommended as something nice to do when you're on holiday and feeling hungry, They even serve scallops! (free, large car park a little way up the road). Its not a restaurant but theres a monument next to it to sit on!
