Never been disappointed here. Fish and chips really good, more like whale and chips! Friendly staff. At busy times best to be there at 6.00, when they open, as you cannot book a table

This pub, restaurant needs to wake up and smell the coffee with no competition they put food on plates but with little love or imagination. Each night it is packed, the bar is warm and welcoming but it is let done by the food presentation and the costs.Suggest a local buys a part of the Ferry terminal and makes a fortune. The... More

As a vegan, eating outside London can be a daunting experience. Finding restaurants that cater for a vegan diet can be very difficult and is often impossible. On a trip to Iona, we stayed in Fionnphort on Mull and went to The Keel Row for dinner because it was next door to our B&B. From the outside it looks like... More

We were at this restaurant because it was the only restaurant we saw while waiting for the ferry to Iona (just to be honest). And we were surprised: the food is good, the staff very nice and quick and the Price average. We could not sit ourside as it was raining but it was a good exerience.

No reservations accepted but this does not matter. A first come, first served policy is operated. We arrived at around 20:45 and asked for a table for two. There was a queue of 5 parties ahead of us and so we waited in the bar for our turn (about 50 minutes, even though this was past their advertised meals served... More

We were very happy to have Keel Row almost next to our accommodation. The staff was friendly, the menu covered typical Scottish dishes. The more exciting menu items were a little pricier. We opted for a shrimp cocktail, Yorkshire pudding, and mince & tatties. It was good, could have had a little more flavour though. Good choice of beers. It... More

We arrived after two and they were still serving, and we were spoilt for choice. In the end we shared a platter of local foods, including cheeses and meats. Service was pretty quick and friendly as well as knowledgeable. I was pleased to see a cake of the day - a lovely most carrot cake.

Visited midweek in August. Staff were very, very helpfull about local area etc. For food arrive before 6pm and ask for your name to be added to the restaurant seating list. We were informed there would be an hour delay which happened. Decent menu and reasonable prices.

Such a big disappointment the quality of the food was so sad and the prices a complete joke. You can not get away in 2014 serving such poor quality of food. This place has great potential with a captive audience we ate there during most of our stay because we had to. We left our holiday early as were not... More

Good plain food with good variety that suited old and young alike in our family. Very busy when it opens at 6pm (cos its good) but by 7pm its perfect. Leisurely drink with a call to your table in 15-20 mins. Service was freindly and good and the view while eating is just world class - really outstanding. We ate... More
