We arrived after two and they were still serving, and we were spoilt for choice. In the end we shared a platter of local foods, including cheeses and meats. Service was pretty quick and friendly as well as knowledgeable. I was pleased to see a cake of the day - a lovely most carrot cake.

Visited midweek in August. Staff were very, very helpfull about local area etc. For food arrive before 6pm and ask for your name to be added to the restaurant seating list. We were informed there would be an hour delay which happened. Decent menu and reasonable prices.

Such a big disappointment the quality of the food was so sad and the prices a complete joke. You can not get away in 2014 serving such poor quality of food. This place has great potential with a captive audience we ate there during most of our stay because we had to. We left our holiday early as were not... More

Good plain food with good variety that suited old and young alike in our family. Very busy when it opens at 6pm (cos its good) but by 7pm its perfect. Leisurely drink with a call to your table in 15-20 mins. Service was freindly and good and the view while eating is just world class - really outstanding. We ate... More

Food was pretty good. Slightly better than usual pub grub. There was a lot of choice on the menu. Service was excellent. However we had to wait over an hour for a table. Get there when the restaurant opens at 6 if you don't want to wait (especially if it is raining in the summer, the pub is one of... More

We were staying at the nearby Fidden campsite over the weekend & had plans to be cooking our own food. However, after walking up Ben More on the Saturday we decided that it would be much better to let someone else cook for us. Good call! The bar was quite busy early Saturday evening & we were told that a... More

No reservations taken here so you need to learn their check-in system, enjoy a drink, and wait for the food - it is worth it! More gourmet than you would expect. Great soups, fresh fish, delish desserts. Everything homemade, much locally sourced.

I came here with my family two nights in a row while we were touring the Ross of Mull. The food was exceptional; very well-made, and reasonable prices for fair portions. None of us went home unsatisfied. A lot of the food is locally-sourced, - such as the Tobermory rainbow trout which was a special when we were there, -... More

After a day of touring Iona we wanted to eat somewhere easy and homely. We were recommended the Keel by a local captain. It was spot on. Fortunately, we arrived early and did not had to wait long for a table for eight of us. The food all round was excellent; the sea food was fresh and generous. We had... More

Title says it all, really! We went for an early drink in the bar to ensure we were first through the door as it only really caters for several customers at the same time - however, this results in really excellent food. My main was scallops with pea and bacon tagliatelle and it truly was the best scallop dish I've... More
