We had a really flavoursome meal at the Inn and would highly recommend the venison casserole or the beef and ale pie. Both were really delicious and it was nice to have a selection of vegetables. Something we miss when away from home. Both meals had loads of delicious tender meat. . .almost more than i would serve at home!

That says it all. We ate here two nights, so for us to return must say something. A homely pub used by locals with meals served in an adjacent room. The menu was not as full as it may be elsewhere but what there was, was interesting. Loved the Haggis and Blackpudding. Desserts were fairly standard offerings but this is... More

My husband and I stopped in here on our way back from Iona to Tobermory, on recommendation from a work colleague. We ate in the bar as it was quiet to start with. The service was friendly and good. The food looked lovely and was hot (which I like). I got the Steak & Ale Pie and chips with vegetables.... More

We had a meal for two on a wet Friday night. Food was fresh home cooked pub grub and very tasty. Lovely little local pub, mixed with tourists and locals. Staff were very friendly. Prices ok. We'd go back.

We've eaten here several times before on previous holidays in 2011 and 2012 (both in May) and only once had a disappointing meal (in compensation for which I had a complimentary desert). Our fond memories of eating here lived up to expectations on our latest visit tonight, when we enjoyed delicious venison casserole. The service couldn't be faulted either, staff... More

I went in for one night only from the nearby caravan site I had the steak pie in the bar It was hot and okay without being really good Nice pint of beer The 'locals' were a bit fresh with their language which seemed to be accepted by the staff From the conversation it appeared that their was to be... We have been coming to mull every year for a very long time and always look forward to a meal in the inn. We arrived this time to so much commotion and swearing in the bar it was a little too much for tea time. Food arrived freezing cold and extremely greasy. So much so that I left most of... More

We had a lovely meal here in March. We ate in the Lounge as children are not allowed in the bar but this was fine. The bar looked very cosy though! The young waiter was very helpful and friendly. Food was lovely. The diningroom doesn't open until May.

A welcome haven on a wet day, great ham sandwich and lovely cafetiere of coffee served in the bar with fire burning.

Have eaten in the bar area only on previous stays in Mull and twice to date on this visit and enjoy the old decor and the atmosphere it has with locals making up most of the clientele although quite a few visitors use it. We usually go for cheese and tomato pizza as the value for a fiver is good... More
