Set in the castle grounds, easily accessed from the town centre via the footbridge on Bayhead. Relaxing atmosphere with home style cooking and friendly service at a very reasonable price.

Enjoyed delicious coffee and cake following a walk with my daughter and baby granddaughter. Very welcoming to young and old. Mezzanine with comfy couches and dining area on ground floor. Space for prams. Highchairs available. Great menu.

Soup and sandwiches, fish and chips and slices of butter but all to a good standard. Very reasonably priced and they have a wee bar too. will visit again next time.

I go to see music regularly at the Woodlands Centre is a perfect, intimate venue for gigs. Occasionally go for food at the Centre and the menu and food are excellent.

Indeed it was good to revisit. have been several times over the years. This time a change in ownership/management clear to see. While still acceptable, and well worth a visit, the previous high mark has slipped a bit. I look forward to further progress next time

Locals will know where this centre is, but for the visitor..... You will need to cross over a stretch of water to the castle grounds. Either by foot, or by car. Both entrances clearly shown. Places to park outside. Busy bustling place, all types of visitors and a good range of basic no fuss foods at affordable prices. Small selection... More

Had a lovely walk round the park and just as we were getting to the end it started to rain. So we nipped in for lunch and was impressed with this cafe. Well laid out and a great menu. I would recommend the pulled pork wrap. Added bonus of the gift and craft shop.

After a long walk around the coastline, this wooden cabin was a place to rest and relax. It offers a range of cooked meals and snacks. My slice of lemon drizzle cake was delicious, and the coffee was top quality. Judging by the number of locals present, this is obviously a popular spot!

Great food, though not a huge choice. Nice atmosphere, clean and a great place to eat. Go for a walk in the grounds afterwards.

Very quick service for simple but tasty food in a lovely setting. Things like quiche, pies, sandwiches and baked potatoes. Nice choice of cakes too.
