I was thankful to find a place that didn't just offer the basic sandwiches which are so common in the UK (could not have another tuna melt!). The menu is great - modern and fresh. If you want a basic meal/sandwich, go to a cafe. If you want modern fresh food, then go to the Harbour Inn. My sandwich was... More

Yes, the food was good, and the views from both the lounge and the dining room are lovely, but as with most of the restaurants on Islay, it's very expensive and the menu a bit pretentious.

Enjoyed our evening, but venue quite uninspiring. Menu expensive and very limited compared to what website showed previously. Staff didn't seem keen to 'promote' business, as turned diners away, when they weren't full. Exterior of premises in need of attention. Pity they don't have more competition in the area.

I think our expectations of the food here were too high. The bar was without a doubt the best in Bowmore and the staff really friendly. We ate here one night and although the food was ok, we were not that impressed with it.

The food was excellent, service good, and I didn't think the prices were expensive. We were seated in the conservatory with a good view across the bay. To start, we had oysters and smoked duck. The (Loch Gruinart) oysters were succulent and almost sweet-tasting, but these were eclipsed by the duck. The breaded egg is a lovely touch. This was... More

The service, food and atmosphere was excellent. Also the views were stunning. It was lovely being able to sit in the conservatory lounge pre and post dinner

Great location - Rooms are good for the island - Food is excellent - Natasha's work inside and outside the kitchen is what makes it a memorable place!

We stopped here to have a few drinks and enjoy the lovely surroundings. The staff were very attentive and although we did not eat here the menu looked good.Bit pricey but think the position of Inn and the ambience contributed to this. Certainly we would go back again and eat there the next time.

Popped in here for lunch ,Great views from the conservatory at the rear, They had a very good menu , We chose Chowder and a home made burgers, Chowder was ok but very little smoked haddock however came with excellent home made bread, One the burgers (£10.95) was completely raw inside .. This was mentioned to the waitress .. who... More
