Fabulous food and great service

Saturday night so we had booked a table. The restaurant was very busy. We were shown to our table straight away. For starters we ordered the prawns & smoked salmon for my wife whilst I had the Brushetta. We shared the starters. Lovely taste and full of flavour. For the main course, my wife had... read more

Visited again yesterday for Sunday lunch. This is the first time we have visited on a Sunday, and what a treat. Food delicious as usual, beautifully presented. Although restaurant very busy, the pleasant head waitress (who has been there for many years), had everything under control. We chose the carvery for our main, as it looked lovely. What a choice,... A great restuarant booking is advisable at weekends. The waiter took us quickly to our table explained the specials of the night returned with menus. After apoint he returned to take a drinks order then our order the food arrived shortly and was hot and well presented. The same experience for our mains and the staff were attentive, but not... Passing through bridge of Allan, by chance exploring the houses around, came across this Italian restaurant by chance on a chill wet summer evening. The quality of the food was astounding and I can recommend the mussels with a chilli, garlic tomato juice, not really a sauce, as a delicious starter. I followed with perfectly cooked prawns in a Pernod... More

Had a cheeky wee group on voucher and had a great experience with the good lady. Great tasting carvery and the minestrone was delicious. Nice staff not intrusive but always available. She had the tiramisu and literally licked the bowl clean. I saw there were a few dodgy reviews but I must say we really enjoyed it. Priced well and... More

Had dinner here with my husband and 2 friends on Saturday night 18th July. We booked a table for 4 a few days in advance, as we knew it would be busy on a Saturday night. We sat in the bar with a bottle of Prosecco first - very nice Prosecco served well chilled - while we looked at the... More

Can't rate this place high enough, we've dined there (lunch) on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The lunch menu isn't extensive but there is something to suit all tastes and the food is good plus the service is courteous and quick. My only criticism is they've never had the calamari dish on the menu for some time and... More
