Best cuban food ever

I am half cuban, born and raised in miami, then lived 10 years in Nashville. Still, this is hands down the best cuban food I have ever had. The meat is perfectly seasoned and the mojo sauce is to die for. Apparently, its homemade. Much better than the bottled mojo my parents always used. Sorry dad... read more

I go here every time I visit my friends, it never disappoints. The red beans are better then the black beans..

Good Cuban food. Cuban sandwich made a bit differently than in South Florida. The pork at the Aroma Cafe is chopped instead of sliced. Did not distract from the Cuban sandwich experience. I have been several times and the food is made to order and comes to the table quickly. Nice to have a decent ethnic restaurant in Maryville.

This little place may not have a great appearance/ location, but I TOTALLY understand why they are #2 in Maryville!! Wow!! Everything was very tasty! However, the guava and cream cheese empanadas were PHENOMENAL!!! Definitely worth trying out and going back!

The location and outward appearance of this small restaurant made me hesitate initially, but I'm glad I ate here. The staff at this "no frills" place was friendly and the food was truly good. Their Cuban sandwich is rich, flavorful and authentic. This is really a foodies find in the town of Maryville.

Menu is not huge, but the food is spectacular! Staff were excellent at making recommendations - very friendly and helpful. I had a pulled pork plate with black beans and rice and an order of tostones (crispy fried plantains). Currently NOT eating sugars and bread, so I'll have to make a second trip back to try out the desserts -... More

Small menu of food that is cooked well. Small eat in location, but great for carry out! Good Cuban pork either as a sandwich or a meal.

Recently found the Aroma cafe and have been back regularly. As someone who loves Cuban food this is the best I have had North of Miami. Most people come for the sandwiches but the Pork plate with rice and black beans is my main stay. Their empanadas are fantastic as well. This is not an atmosphere place, you come solely... More

Worth the stop! Pull up and it looks like a shady hole in the wall and it is. Trust me and just park your car and walk in. The smells alone are worth the stop. I got the large cubano. The bread and all the meat are fresh! Took me two meals to finish the large sandwich. If i am... More
