Try It, You Will Come Back Over and Over Again

Great Cuban sandwich, start to finish. Amazing flavors in the picadillo. Black and red beans were great, too. This place is great!

The truth is we had just watched the movie "Chef". If you have seen the movie you know it makes you crave a good Cuban sandwich. So we came across this place on our quest for one and boy did it meet and exceed our expectations! We will be back for another!

We were in Maryville around lunch time so I checked Trip Advisor for recommendations. Aroma Cafe at #2 and the accompanying reviews definitely caught our attention and whetted our appetites. As another reviewer noted, it is a small "hole in the wall" but don't let the appearance deter you as the food was great! We both ordered the small cuban... More

I went to Aroma Cafe with my husband and 2 daughters. We ordered our food at the counter and choose a few items from the heated display case on the counter. These appetizer type items were brought to us first, shortly followed by our dinners. 3 of us ate the Cuban sandwich. My little daughter ate 2 chicken empanadas. Everything... More

Holy mojo!!! Their sandwiches, mojo sauce, and rice and beans are to die for! Also, try their Cuban soda and empanadas. Love this place!

They make the best Cuban sandwich around! Friendly people and perfect food! All the dishes I have tried are wonderful! The red beans and rice are sooo good! You will definitely enjoy your visit!

My husband and I ate at the Aroma Cafe after reading the reviews here on TripAdvisor. The term I would use to describe the restaurant is "hole in the wall." I'm not sure what the building was prior to becoming a restaurant, but it was definitely not intended to be a restaurant when it was built. Upon entering the restaurant,... More

The Cuban sandwich is very good, but what really sends this little restaurant over the top is/are the authentic (kind of) red beans and black beans. They are flavorful and creamy, served with just the right amount of rice for textural contrast. I add the hot sauce at the table, for just a touch more zing, but every dish I've... More

Went here with my parents. The workers were a mother and son and they were both really sweet. My family loves to dine tapas style and their selection of smaller plates makes this really easy and affordable. Highly recommend checking them out.
