We had talked about going here but hadn't made it. Glad we finally did. The owner made us feel at home and the food was exactly as all the other reviewers have described... Great. make the drive. The portions of food are bigger than you expect, The large is enough for 2 people so be prepared.

The Cuban sandwich was delicious! We also had the pulled pork dinner with black beans, rice and platanos maduros (sweet plantains). It was excellent. If you are in Maryville, I highly recommend that you stop in and have authentic Cuban food.

Just the best. Had the small Cuban sandwich with black beans and rice. Everyone should try this. It is top grade.

Hard to find good Cuban in Tennessee. This is it. Excellent made to order Cubans in 3 sizes. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Try the empanadas.

Cuban sandwich the way it's supposed to be, great pork and great bread. The black beans were tasty and the picadillo was to die for, I could eat it every day.

I try to stop by for lunch here ever so often. I got the medium sandwich combo with black beans and rice, and the sandwich was huge! Fresh, hot, tasty....great good!

Very unassuming environment, but their Cuban sandwich is the best I've had. I had one in S. Florida recently, and it didn't even compare to Aroma's! The Mojo sauce is the best, and their black beans & rice is outstanding! Pay cash to get a little bit of a discount.

This restaurant is great. It was there for years before we ever tried it. Now we eat there about once a month. The Cuban combo is fantastic!

My wife and I gave Aroma Cafe a try since we had some time to kill in Maryville before an appointment. I completely agree with all of the good reviews. This place is a find and a refreshing alternative to the ubiquitous chains restaurants which I secretly hope fade away. The owner gave a wonderful description of that day's special... More

I meant to write this review a few months ago when I first found this place. I have now gone back at least 6 times. Being from Florida, I know and love Cuban food. This is some of the best I have ever had. The roast pork is amazing. Their home made mojo gives it incredible flavor. You will be... More
