Recently found the Aroma cafe and have been back regularly. As someone who loves Cuban food this is the best I have had North of Miami. Most people come for the sandwiches but the Pork plate with rice and black beans is my main stay. Their empanadas are fantastic as well. This is not an atmosphere place, you come solely... More

Worth the stop! Pull up and it looks like a shady hole in the wall and it is. Trust me and just park your car and walk in. The smells alone are worth the stop. I got the large cubano. The bread and all the meat are fresh! Took me two meals to finish the large sandwich. If i am... More

Stopped in on our way through Maryville. We try to avoid the chains and this place is exactly what we like. Great sandwich options and sides. We haven't had much cuban food in the past but now I want to try more! Will be back!

We saw this as highly rated and after we ate there we understood why. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly.

This tiny little place packs a punch! It has absolutely the best cuban sandwich I've ever had (and I've had quite a few)! The beans and rice (both read and black) are great, and the papas rellenas are amazing! It's a deep fried mashed potato ball with some of the cuban meat and seasoning on the inside! Oh my goodness,... More

The Cuban sandwich was amazing. Authentic food! The building doesn't look like anything special when you come in to the parking lot but as soon as you walk in and smell the food you'll know your in the right place!

At least 5 times while we were eating, I heard, "This is delicious". The roast pork was moist, succulent and delicious. The black beans had great flavor without being over salted. The cuban sandwich comes in three different sizes. The flan was real cuban style. They even make guava pastries. The topper of the meal was the REAL cuban coffee.... More

After picking up my younger son, ten, from camp, we stopped in for a late lunch. My other son was with us; he is eleven. The boys were ready for an adventure, having never eaten at a Cuban restaurant before. We were the only customers since it was after 3pm for lunch. We were greeted by the family matriarch. As... The Best Cuban & Picidillo Sandwich around! We've been frequently this spot for over four years now! Stop in, you won't be disappointed! Aroma Cafe is one of our neighborhoods Best Kept Secrets! It's not hard to find right off Pellissippi Pkwy toward Maryville, one mile down on the right on Broadway Ave. Enjoy!
