Good Lunch but desserts are not

We are so glad to have this cafe in town. It has small town charm and quaintness. The lunches are very good but can be a bit pricey. I have had everything from the sandwiches to salads and soup. Personally I do not recommend the baked goods as they seem to take on a stale flavor. I am someone... read more

Friends brought us terrific sandwiches while were were working, and we went the next two days for breakfast. Great breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, scones... The weirdest thing was their unfamiliarity with hot tea, but they managed to come up with a bag and some hot water...

I have loved their French dip sandwich since I first discovered it several years ago. It is a bit pricey but so worth it when it is good. The problem is...it's not always good. Sometimes the beef is not very fresh. I started to feel like I was 'gambling' with my money when I ordered one. Well, last week was... More

It seems like they are selling as I noticed the sign outside the restaurant. This could explain the poor business and service is customers have been experiencing the past few months. It's a shame because I really did enjoy the place when we first moved here last summer. I had very nice lunches and Lemon bars with my little girl... More

This was once my favorite local restaurant in Maryville, but things have changed on my last two visits. The last time I went, my mother had to go ask for dressing on her Asian salad and then realized there were only a few pieces of chicken on a relatively pricey salad. Then she had to ask about the Mandarin oranges that... Ordered an expensive carrot cake for a very special birthday, but the cake was extremely disappointing---it was merely a very flavorless spice cake with very, very tiny sparse bits of carrots throughout, topped with tasteless icing. What a huge let-down.

Order was wrong they wouldn't refund money once they get your money your had owner smarted off she was snotty and told us she hoped we didn't come back. Whatever happened to customer service and the customer is always right. By the way pay for air conditioning.

This is my go-to place for great scrumptious birthday and special occasion cakes. Not only are they beautifully crafted they taste fantastic. The other pastries and muffins are delectable too. Also I enjoy their hand crafted lunches. I am a vegetarian and their portabella sandwich is to die for. They almost always have a vegetarian soup on the menu and... More

Did a special order. It was wrong. I was charged double of what I was when I ordered the same this before. I felt the quality was poor and so did my guests.(they had another baker last time that I dealt with) I talked to the manager and unfortunately age didn't care and was very condescending when she spoke. She... More

We eat here at least once a month and have never been disappointed. My favorite sandwiches are the French Dip piled with roast beef and served with a really good au jus and the roast chicken sandwich with pear preserves. This is also a bakery so the bread is always good and fresh. Neither my husband nor I are big... More
