This place is small but the food is mighty! Absolutely amazing. Was out for dinner on Sunday 5th July. Was busy- every table was out. We was given the lunch set menu as a mistake therefor didn't realise we could have had a trio of meats (which was on the dinner set menu) so we shall have to return for... More

Stopped here for lunch on our way from Glasgow to Culzean Castle (after overnight flight). Staff was very accommodating (managed to squeeze us in despite a relatively full house for Sunday lunch) and friendly. The food was outstanding (especially the Cullen skink). Overall, great experience.

His son was the chef so it was a family business. The place was full of locals and regulars as well as people like us who... More

He got three beautiful slices of beef. the accompanying sauce/gravy was, in his view "to die for" His vegetables were excellent, and the home made Yorkshire... More

This is the third time we have visited the Minishant Inn, and the whole experience was great. The restaurant is not huge, which gives it a cosy atmosphere. The staff were generally young, all friendly and efficient. The menu is quite wide ranging - this means that there is something for everybody, or else it is difficult to make up... More
