Having a family get together at three in the afternoon was not the easiest time to pick. I had forgotten about the Minishant Inn as the past year had been a bit frantic, bur what a piece of luck to remember and the location meant no one had to travel very far. Not all arriving together was no problem and... More

Went here for a meal for our wedding anniversary. Food was delicious and fresh. Both had a starter of pea and ham soup and steak pie for mains. Can't fault it. Nice and cozy with good service. Can't wait to go back.

This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we were delighted with the meal. The staff were particularly attentive, and could not do enough to ensure you were being looked after during the evening. A must visit.

This restaurant had a gentle air about it, the decoration was pleasantly low key with soft background music, the service was unobtrusive but effective, the seating was comfortable and reasonably spaced. The menu had a good range of choice and the food was delicious as was the wine. The only complaint was that the portions were so large that we... More

I have been to this restaurant many times over the last year and I have never been disappointed. No matter what I order it is always delicious and the portion sizes are huge. If you like a sweet, then don't take a starter, because after two courses, your won't have room for one! It can be a bit noisy when... More
