On a lovely Monday lunch time my friend and I arranged to meet here for lunch. The location is equidistance for both of us. Lovely wee place, not many tables so would advise booking. Met by welcoming staff who were ok with us chatting and not reading the menu! Very full menus with special two and three course deals along... More

Popped in without a booking, the place seemed busy but we where accommodated. Waiting was good, seemed to be a good mix of local and passing trade going by the dialects I was able to pick up on. Food itself was nicely presented, delicious. Question would I choose to eat here again? Yes! Would I recommend eating here to a... More

As per the title. Great food, great value and definitely great service. Dropped in on several occasions now for lunch on the road home. Always welcome, never had to book and never disappointed!

The Minishant Inn has a very varied menu, something for everyone. We visited on a Sunday and enjoyed a very nice Sunday Roast, the food was delicious and served very quickly by very pleasant staff. We had not booked on advance therefore we had to sit at the outside tables, but although close to a busy road, this did not... More

A visit to the Minishant Inn,located a few miles south of Ayr on the A77,is a rewarding experience. The food is superb, beautifully presented, and served by bright and delightfully friendly staff. There is just one thing making it fall short of perfection and this one thing is probably related to the Inn's popularity. When the restaurant is busy customers can be seated... More

Been on holiday for last week and having spent the time mainly eating out in restaurants, before going home arranged to meet up with some friends for a meal. Chose Minishant Inn after looking at reviews for it and some others. What a result! Best meal of the week and compliments to the chef and staff for the quality of... More

Visited the Minishant Inn for lunch after several recommendations. Menu was as you would probably expect with a fairly standard choice. The restaurant is kept in great condition inside and out. Service was good. I struggled to finish my meal as I found it got saltier the more I ate, possibly not mixed through? I will visit again as I've... More
