Went here for a meal for our wedding anniversary. Food was delicious and fresh. Both had a starter of pea and ham soup and steak pie for mains. Can't fault it. Nice and cozy with good service. Can't wait to go back.

First visit to the restaurant on our way back from Culzean Castle. An incredible meal and fast friendly service. Would love to go back

This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we were delighted with the meal. The staff were particularly attentive, and could not do enough to ensure you were being looked after during the evening. A must visit.

This restaurant had a gentle air about it, the decoration was pleasantly low key with soft background music, the service was unobtrusive but effective, the seating was comfortable and reasonably spaced. The menu had a good range of choice and the food was delicious as was the wine. The only complaint was that the portions were so large that we... More

I have been to this restaurant many times over the last year and I have never been disappointed. No matter what I order it is always delicious and the portion sizes are huge. If you like a sweet, then don't take a starter, because after two courses, your won't have room for one! It can be a bit noisy when... More

Dined here a few weeks ago and it was a great experence. Menu was very good, service was exceptional (believe its family run). We had 2 courses and we were both full to bursting - my only complaint was everyone ie other diners seem to stop what they are doing and look at you when you first come in but... More

Some of the tables are tight for space. A greeting would be nice on arrival. Parking can be a problem as it sits on a very busy main road .

We were here on a Saturday night! I would recommend booking as it was really busy! Busy but very good service! We were met by the owner who was extremely welcoming! Service was friendly & efficient! We were just getting comfortable when our drinks arrived! Really good a la carte and fixed price menus! Both are value for money! The... More

Managed to get a walk in in the always buzzing restaurant. Starter of smoked chicken was delicious followed by trio of peppered meats were my choices and were delicious. Jane had black pudding followed by escalope of pork both top notch. Alison chose pate followed by beautiful roast beef. Louise has tomato and basil soup followed by the cajan chicken... More
