Cannot believe I'm only just trying this place! Since dining there last night, for the first time, i can safely say it's one of the best restaurants in Ayrshire (if you like seafood)! I had a starter of squid, and a main of hake with creamed cabbage and bacon. Both were delicious! Good choice of wines by the glass on... More

We've been attending this restaurant several times a year since it opened many many years ago. We were always proud to tell everyone this was the best restaurant in Troon, but unfortunately something has changed, sadly for the worst. Over our last few visits we have noticed something very different. Quantity over quality now seems to be the priority, with... More

This was a first visit by my wife and I and we were not disappointed. We went there for lunch and from the minute we entered, we were made to feel most welcome. The restaurant building is a bit quirky but very acceptable for both a small or large party. The food is excellent, mainly seafood, and our meal was... More

This is a small intimate restaurant that is not as well known as it should be! Food is great and wine is sublime. No need to dress up and really comfortable place to eat out in. Need to book.

This restaurant never disappoints. The location is unique at the end of the harbour where the fishing boats come in. Menu is uncomplicated but with a good choice and food is well cooked. High rating well deserved.

MacCallum's Oyster Bar was just what I hoped for - great quality, well cooked seafood. We had Asian squid and lobster cocktail for starters. Squid was perfectly cooked, the lobster was fresh and an ample portion. I enjoyed the seafood linguini but the star was the fish pie which was the best I've ever tasted. Not cheap at £30 a... More

Superb food, mainly fish, with excellent service. A great venue for a meal for two but you usually have to book. It is expensive, especially the drinks, but great for a special occasion

The menu is quite small but that can be a good sign in a fish restaurant. Cullen Sink could have been a bit creamier but was nice and had monkfish and prawn curry main which was really nice. Would definitely good back.
