Excellent Scones from a Great Local Business!

Currently working in the town of Troon for 2 weeks and ventured into Blueberry for a bite to eat. Other employees have shared very positive reviews of their Scone and Tea/Coffee deal at lunchtimes and it didn't disappoint. Daily specials normally include Plain, Fruit, White Chocolate, Coconut and... read more

Enjoy Blueberry's homebaking however was not impressed by the way one of the waitresses spoke to what seemed to be a another waitress who seemed fairly new she spoke very rudely to her about the way she was moving a cake and there was no need for it as the girl was very pleasant and it did not make any... We had soup and a sandwich and a baked potato. Food was good and service was good. Salad and crisps were skimpy portions. Previous people seem to have had problems with the toilets. Those were clean and functioning. Not expensive, good food, reasonable service.

We had a lovely breakfast, my wife having the poached eggs on toast, and I had the French toast with bacon and maple syrup. Prompt service, with quaint crockery. Well worth a visit.

Blueberry's is a perfect little café, two minutes from the beach, and conveniently in the middle of the town centre. With three friends, I regularly come in for a delicious breakfast before shopping around the town. The French toast with bacon and maple syrup is to die for. The wide range of coffee and tea available is fantastic. Gingerbread hot... More

This is one of our favourite coffee shops to visit when we come to Troon! My mum and I and my two small children visited Blueberries on September 12th 2014 as every week they are creating cakes etc that were shown on the 'great british bake off' that week. This week was the princess cake and it looked and tasted... More

Been to Blueberries many times and is still a favourite. Always cosy and welcoming. The soup is always delicious and the freshly baked cakes are irresistable, especially the cupcakes. Deffinately one of my favourite places in the town and well worth a visit, whether for a lunch or just a wee cuppa and a scone :-)

This looked like a nice little café to have our afternoon tea in Troon, so we went in and took a seat. In spite of there being 3-4 servers no-one came to take our order so after a while I got up and asked if we could order something. Very average food, plastic-looking scones & service non-existant. When we were... More

At first glance looked like a nice place to go. I did feel like I was harassing the staff by asking for a can of juice and something to eat - there was no queue! After seeing the poor state of the toilets I wish I hadn't bothered. This place needs to brush up on customer service and bring their... More
