Cakes taste great

Only had cakes hot chocolate and coffees however worth a visit for the cakes alone. Good helpings and taste great. Only criticism was the service, one of the staff not very welcoming and one word answers, did not seem very interested in customer service.

Placed looked nice and bright from the outside, but blonde mature waitress was very grumpy from the off set never welcomed us in and then wasn't happy that one member of our party had gone to the bathroom and that we weren't ready to order straight away. Overall her manner with us and other guests was rude, with poor communication,... More

Mixed feelings about this place. Good location not far from the beach, and the decor was nice. The staff were nice enough but all looked miserable! The food was ok, my boyfriend enjoyed his toastie and lentil soup but there wasn't much to it. Mine was not what I expected. I ordered a spicy chicken panini which was just plain... More

Blueberry is very popular when it is busy it is unbearable. Coffee is ok but far too small. Food is your bog standard greasy spoon cafe food. If you are looking for something cheap, this is the place for you.

Staff were friendly and competent; cakes were really nice (it is a bakery after all). The coffee is some of the best I've tasted... and I consider myself to be a bit of a coffee connoisseur. If, like me, you appreciate the full-on, intense flavour of great coffee, get the two-shot stuff; if you like the coffee they serve in... More

Looks lovely from the outside but not friendly inside. Waitress didn't seem impressed that we had our children with us (well behaved ). Found it overpriced. Cakes were nice though.

It's been years since we last visited Troon and after a long walk on the beach in high winds we were happy to stop off at the first tea room we came to. Blueberry. It was warm and welcoming and very busy, which is a usually a good sign. Out table was quickly cleared and thoroughly wiped as we sat... More

Currently working in the town of Troon for 2 weeks and ventured into Blueberry for a bite to eat. Other employees have shared very positive reviews of their Scone and Tea/Coffee deal at lunchtimes and it didn't disappoint. Daily specials normally include Plain, Fruit, White Chocolate, Coconut and Walnut scones to name a few each served warm with butter and... More
