Lovely lunch deals!

I went here with one of friends for lunch. We decided to go for one of the lunch deals of sandwich and soup. We had to wait quite a while initially. But the carrot and ginger soup and tuna and red onion sandwiches and salad were lovely! Well worth the wait and decently priced too.

We live in East Kilbride and visit Troon on a very regular basis. We always eat in Venice Cafe. My husband likes his bacon an egg roll and I always order Cheese and Pickle Brown Bread sandwiches, with a lovely side salad and nachos. Smoothies are good too - especially blueberry, raspberry ones. The staff I think even know what... More

Hidden treasure of delightful food and lovely friendly staff. I drive to Troon from Lanarkshire to have a good long walk on the beach followed by a fabulous lunch at Venice. It is very much worth a visit.

I went here as I wanted a change to where I normally have coffee. The girl on the till greeted me when I entered and was very pleasant. I asked for flavoured latte which was not on menu but was available so I ordered. Coffee was ok, not amazing but drinkable. My only issue was that the table was very... More

Had a delicious soup and sandwich which was well presented and extremely tasty. The fillings were more than ample and served with a very generous salad. Girls serving were very attentive and service was quick. Had to sample the delicious baking too. Top marks all round and we will be back.

This is an unpretentious wee restaurant/cafe in Troon. The food is excellent and the waitress was extremely nice and friendly. Everything we had was served in good time and was piping hot.Prices were very reasonable. Another reviewer is wrong saying that there is a "lack of alternatives" in Troon, by the way - there are lots of competitors and the... More

First time in Troon and we were looking for some where to stop for lunch when we spotted this great wee place. The sandwiches were freshly made and there was a good choice of fillings and there was also a large selection of cakes and tray bakes. Well priced and nice friendly staff. Only criticism would be that the toilets... More

There's not much that can go wrong with soup and a toasty. The mushroom soup was full of mushrooms. The toasty was crammed full of cheese and ham. Not much scrimping on ingredients here. The bonus is that it was all served with a cheery smile. Well worth a visit

Came here having driven most of the day and was fairly hungry. Looked nice enough from the outside and the young waitress was friendly enough. Ordered the 'BLT with Mayo' as I thought it would be fairly decent for £6 and it's pretty hard to stuff up. When my 'meal' arrived it was fairly apparent I had over-estimated the muppet... More

I should start by saying we have been here a couple of times before and the food is good but made the mistake of returning on a Saturday at lunch time. The Cafe was busy but there were empty tables that had not been cleared. After standing at a dirty table for five minutes, and then asking one of the... More

The girls were all busy as you entered the cafe, one of the girls told you she would clear a table for you after she had finished serving drinks to another table. You then immediately approached the counter where you were rude to another member of staff. I was made aware of the situation right away as I was in the... More
