We are here after an early evening walk on the beach. It's a fish and chip shop with somewhere to sit down. No frills. That said the service was very good with quick service. We had breaded and battered fish and chips. Both were good although had to say the chips were very fresh and most enjoyable. Recommended.

Came here with my wife and 2 young kids after a day at the beach. Was really busy and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but we're glad we did. The wife and I had fish teas whilst the kids had sausages. Didn't have to wait long for food and it was great. Staff were lovely and... More

The worst, absolutely the worst fish tea I have ever eaten, greasy stodgy and not the cleanest. I was happy to leave the review at the above however the system insisted I write more..... Just wasn't very good, staff tried hard, maybe Gordon Ramsey could turn it around!

As a child we used to look jealously into seaside chip shop cafes with their formica topped tables and exciting looking salt and vinegar dispensers sitting on the tables. Now i am a father and as a treat to my teenage kids i thought i would give them the West Coast Experience i longed for as a kid. We ordered... More

Reasonably priced, tasty food, friendly service, clean. It was nothing special but perfectly adequate.

The quality of food for a chippy is excellent. From my first visit the owner took time to explain how he achieves this with his selection of potatoes frying technique. Without a doubt bust chippy around, just look at how busy it is.

Usually pop down to Troon 3 or 4 times a year and we always pop into the Pavilion . Must say we have never been disappointed one of the best fish teas we've tasted and at £5.50 a bargain.
