Beautiful original food

Had a three course dinner all beautifully cooked to my liking - dessert (rhubarb eaton mess) was nothing short of a work of genius! Staff were friendly and not over attentive

Went here for my birthday recently. Excellent food, excellent service and they even decorated the plate of my Sticky Toffee Pudding with 'Happy Birthday' in chocolate, which was a nice touch. Nick and Fiona are great hosts. I had the Haggis Pakora followed by the Lamb. The whole meal was delicious and we all loved it. Go, you won't be... More

We went for our valentines meal and were slightly let down by the food. The table was beautifully presented and the menu looked promising but just didn't deliver. Trying too hard to be fancy/fussy but didn't do the basics correctly. My partner ordered steak and was not given a steak knife, and considering he ordered it rare and it came... More

Went there for valentines and had a great night. Best steak and chunky chips for a long time. The staff were extremely helpful, and as we were leaving spotted a lunch deal for a tenner, and two steaks and wine for 25 quid on a Wednesday night. We will be back for one of them.

My Partner and I choose from the 2 courses for £9.95 lunch menu. Excellent value for money - I would highly recommend the haggis and black pudding pakora for starter! Bbq rips were delicious and we both decided to pay extra for chocolate brownie for pudding - which comes with a cute mini milkshake. Staff are very friendly and checked... More
