We live locally and have used the restaurant under its pervious owners many times but this was the first visit with the Foxes in charge. If you look at their website you will see their track history and this is proven when you savour the food. The small but welcoming restaurant is known for it's wide variety of home made... More

Booked for a Sunday lunch in the off-season. Worth booking ahead as it's not a big place and is well known locally so can be busy at times. I can't be certain of the way the place works, but it seems that it's a full menu earlier in the day and then just pizzas later on. (Although that might just... More

Gorgeous pizza and cullen skink. Unfortunately when I took my grandparents to the restaurant last sunday I think there was a staffing issue which meant they were serving only pizza. The girls were lovely and very apologetic hence the fact I am not marking it down. These things happen but we had went to try the seafood so they left... More

Lovely wee restaurant. Excellent menu with lots of different options. Lots of Scottish dishes. The pizzas are amazing!

I stayed in Cromarty for a couple of nights and ate dinner here alone on a Saturday night. It can be awkward to eat alone in a busy restaurant but the cosy, welcoming atmosphere meant that I felt totally at ease! The pizza was delicious and very thin (very close to the Italian real deal). I chose the Sutor pizza.... More

Tooked out on the east coast of the Black Isle, this is a fantastic little restaurant which certainly has character. The stone oven Pizza's are delicious. They also have a good variety of other dishes however I was slightly disappointed in only being able to order Pizza's after 2.30pm on a Saturday afternoon. I assume the chef simply works the... More

This place is spectacular, amazing Pizza’s and glorious specials, the only thing you need to do is to make sure you book a table…they seem to turn a lot of people away! (A nice problem to have!). We had a Sunday lunch and were very well looked after by friendly staff, we started with a cheese, onion, garlic and rosemary... More

A cool upbeat interior with waiting staff who look like the cast of a model school, this place hit the crest of a wave even from the start.Pleasant ,impecable service was complemented by a modern interior ,reflective of the coastal environment. We ate warm pigeon salad followed by Duck. The balanced flavours of complimenting blackberries and toasted hazelnuts with the pigeon were sublime.This... Arrived here on a cold and windy Saturday, just at the end of the lunchtime menu service. It's an expensive lunch option, but well worth every penny and far better than settling for something cheaper. I had Shetland mussels: an enormous helping cooked beautifully in a white wine sauce; my husband had a venison burger - served on a crusty... More

My wife and I stopped off at Sutor Creek for lunch on the way back to Dornoch. We'd read about it in the papers and although we had not booked luckily there was a table. I say luckily as although this was mid February it was almost full! Simple, comfortable café/bistro style, friendly service throughout and short but classy menu. I had... More
