Great food, with an unmissable view

Visited here for an evening meal on a camping tour of western Scotland. Its a very popular Inn with outstanding views from the benches outside of the isles of Skye and Rassay. Great pub. People who work here are so very friendly and service was efficient. Just could have done with a couple of vegetarian options on the menu.

We ate at the Inn on a Monday for lunch at 2 pm. There was a 45 minute wait so we asked someone if we could join them at their table. We both had the best seafood that we have ever had! Overall I give this place a 5+ for the atmosphere and food. We had a great time eating... More

Great Little restaurant located next to the seafront. My only complaint was that it was too busy and it was very disorganised as there were no available seats and it was very crowded. However i am sure the owners will argue that being busy is a good sign which in essence it is. The menu is full of locally sourced... More

Go via Pass of the Cows, the best climb in the UK! Then down to the gastro pub with views to Skye and a bay to behold. Get there early, 12 should do it. Have superb food and drink. Specially the battered fish and chips! But the Fish Pie was a bit special as well. Shame but they've gone all... More

Lovely setting, good food but quite expensive. The Skye beer is great. The staff were all friendly and efficient.

This Inn is a very welcome sight after the exciting drive to Applecross. We were warmly greeted by the very friendly and hospitable staff and very soon were seated with drinks in hand. We all ordered the fish and chips and it seemed only minutes later they were placed in front of us. They were delicious- crisp and crunchy batter... More

The drive over the high mountain pass (only open for certain months) is unforgettable and if you still have an appetite then a large plate of the Applecross Bay Jumbo prawns in their shells is an equally memorable culinary experience. Take your time to crack every single limb, suck out the garlicky sauce and enjoy every single last piece of... More

I went here for a live music night whilst staying at Eagle Rock, round the corner. The view, food and atmosphere were brilliant and I had a delicious mango curry and crab salad with glass of sauvignon blanc. Fantastic for lunch or dinner and definitely go for one of the amazing flavoured ice creams for dessert!
