Perfect food!!!

I always had bad experience with UK food. So I did not expected at all as I know well. However, here is one of the excellent restaurant in the WORLD!!! I loved my scallop dish so much!! I kept scooping the left sauce from the shell. So so delicious! I still miss the plate from there. It was... read more

Large group of us stopped by for late Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago. Food was very good, everyone was raving over the chowder. Nice atmosphere, very busy.

Take the Pass of the Cattle from Lochcarron across the mountains to Applecross - it must be one of the most spectacular roads in the UK. - an experience in it's own right but topped off with a visit to The Applecross Inn. They only take bookings for tables of 8 or more and the place is very busy in... More

If you get a chance to go to Applecross take it! Not only do you get the chance to visit the famous Inn for a cup of tea (it was a little early for lunch), but you also get some of the best views in the UK. Looking straight across at Skye and the Cuillins, there really isn't anything more... More

We went here for my husband's 40th birthday lunch and we weren't disappointed. We drove the high road on the way to Applecross which was just spectacular and well worth doing, although terrifying at the time! There were 10 of us and we were all delighted with our food. I would just point out that the portions are huge though,... More

Every time I said to anyone that I was going to Applecross, they automatically told me to eat at the Applecross Inn. The views surrounding are absolutely stunning and this is the perfect little hub. The staff were very friendly and there was a relaxed atmosphere - dogs allowed, which I don't mind at all. Our friend from Devon said... More

This is a very busy place and that says a lot, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious. The fish and chips legendary and another meal I had, sea trout, was equally devine. Needed to stay longer as (with the Potting Shed) these two places deliver food that you just want to keep eating.

This is one of the best located Pubs in the UK, with view across Applecross Bay towards Skye and the Cullen Mountains. The pub is olde world! The food selection is fresh and local the seafood from the bay in front of you and the surrounding bays on the peninsula, the beef and venison is local, so local you can... More

After the drive over the famous 'Bealach Nam Ba' you'll feel like you have earned a meal. The seafood is fantastic, I had very good crab salad and my friend had about 100 Langoustine which were (according to him) outstanding. Sticky toffee pudding also worthy of mention. Very nice to hear staff telling customers that they had run out of... More

We were staying at the campsite and visited the Inn for drinks before we ate in our campervan. We ended up having some desserts and whisky too because we were enjoying the place so much. We had a great laugh with Jack - the waiter with the habit of borrowing customers hats!!
